You Bungie defenders will never get it.
Some of you are defending Bungie removing Legendary Shards.
You are using zero reasons behind your argument cause you have none, so most comments are just resorting to insulting the posters, mature.
But it's not "people wanting to quit over a small change." It's like a marriage. It isn't like you want to get a divorce over him, not keeping his promise once. It's a bigger picture of these little disrespectful things that add up to a bigger problem where there is more disrespect and inconsiderate acts than reason to stick it out.
People aren't just mad cause one currency. People are mad cause of countless changes they don't want, being lied to compulsively, lack of respect towards their time and entire being, and more.
If you don't get it, don't attack people just cause you feel their opinion is invalid. Then you aren't just wrong, but you are being a jerk in the process.
[spoiler]Bungie doesn't pay you to defend them all day on the internet. Better yet. Bungie doesn't even at least care that you do it. You have opinions, right? Well, so do others.[/spoiler]

You have an unlimited - inflationary currency that has had exploits to be able to gain more and you have it being a primary currency in the game that allows you to bypass a portion of the game by never needing to participate in patrol. This leads to patrol zones being less populated and devalues the content by removing any meaning from it (glimmer). It leads to it being a waste of game worlds and development time. It also leads to a disparity in designing the economy. How do you design it around some people having tens of thousands and some people having none? You don’t. It isn’t a free economy - it never has been. If you’re sitting on that many you likely weren’t using them anyways, Everyone whined about mercury being so small and pointless. Now you all whine about having to go to throne world and other places for resources. You all whined about there not being resources on planets and then they added them and you whined about going to the planets. How about we just remove patrol zones all together and make everything in the game instance based. Remove lost sectors while we’re at it since you all cry about that too. That way we can all just sit in the tower and queue up for everything. Nobody would ever need to whine about the spoils cost for Always on Time either since you’d never need a sparrow.
