After all these years and profits you've made you still haven't give us dedicated severs.
Theirs probably innocent people out there getting suspensions from the game because because of you low standard severs. How cab you be proud of the game you create when the fundamentals basic isn't stable?
You're rumored to be developing other games. If your current game is in a below average state, why would anyone even consider buying whatever it is you make next?
Sooner or later gamers are going to push back on mmo games. To the point you'll find yourself in court as your not providing the service people have paid for. Hopefully games come together and push for a new a new law that all mmos need to be dedicated servers.

I don't think it's the devs, but the creative leads who have failed. Did you read the Bungie PowerPoint that was released?
-
Drones will buy whatever these guys spit out with enough hype train exhaust inhaled from bungee. Selective memory will kick in as usual..just watch the reskinfall sales

Pockets.

Into a room full of gold coins, Scrooge McDuck style.

Edited by Digibluez: 12/31/2022 8:24:20 AMonly good game they ever made was halo and now they think to be the king on top of the hill, its a joke if d2 gets mentioned anywhere people just laugh for how bad the game is, tells a lot even a korean grindfest has a better reputation
-
That’s a good as question honestly 🤣
-
Not how that works Plus bad connection player with servers won't fix the issue
-
Remember we don't MATTER 😆🤣..

Diversity quotas.
-
A new law haha That's adorable 🤣
-
Pockets, all the money goes in to Bungies pockets. Certainly not back into the game.

16 RepliesEdited by AubsTheBelieber: 12/28/2022 5:23:05 PMInto Matter lol. Have you not read about staffing changes and their job postings of their website? They took over half the Destiny team and put them on Matter and $100 million wasn't enough from NetEase so Destiny is funding Matter. Hense the pricing going up and the content going down. Heck Witch Queen was $100 here in Canada. Lightfalls is $124.99. Taken King and the year after of content was $30 total. And don't lie to yourself that it is inflation. Nothing else has increased over 4 times in price. Funny part is Destiny has had over 137 million players try Destiny 1 and 2. It is now. Www.Destinytracker.com Hit lower lows and lower highs than ever, but if you look at the stats the decline has been ever since Warmind year 1, which could see over 6 million logins in a normal day before. The funny part is Bungie thinks if they just make a new game, they will suddenly be successful and the over 99% of people that quit and hate them, will for some reason come back? Even though Shadowkeep, Forsaken, Beyond Light and Witch Queen all failed to both bring players back, and/or stop this game from bleeding more. But Matter will be different. Cause the definition of insanity is "doing the same thing over and over again, will make Matter have different results".

Good question, were does the money go, clearly not on updated servers.
-
I mean you pretty much answered the question yourself. Obviously Destiny is not their main concern anymore in any regard. It's been their cash cow with minimal effort put into for a while now. They are definitely working on atleast 2, more likely more new titles. That's where all their talented senior devs have been reallocated to. And that's also where all our hard earned money is flowing towards. I think it is also save to say that one of those new upcoming games will be the game that replaces D2 in the long run. I don't think it will be a "Destiny 3" but my guess would be a diablo immortal type project by Bungie that's simply called "Destiny Online", is on mobile with tons and tons of mtx's and also has a console/pc port that's gonna feel terrible. That's pretty much the future of gaming. The mobile game market is just way to massive in asian countries, which make up for the vast majority of the gaming market. The future for Destiny is indeed bright, for Bungies pockets and those of their investors :)

Can't. You're asking for a game rebuild.
-
if only switching to dedicated servers was easy…
-
Probably into the next project with Netease "Matter "
-
The money is probably being used to create the new pvp game they have been secretly working on. I doubt they will invest more than they need to when it gets to destiny.
-
Bro how else do you think I can get my hands on a nerf ghorn ornament?? That had to cost them at least 20 bucks to make
-
LOL! -Bungo *laughs in Sony*
-
It's going into getting the opportunity for talks for the crossovers, obviously.
-
1 Replyprobably going to Matter. hopefully that game has dedicated servers.

5 Repliesthis game has about 2 years of planned life left. do you honestly think they would invest in dedicated servers on the little time left? if so that's unrealistic on your part.
