There are more nightstalker hunters than all warlock subclasses combined. Yet streamers are still calling for ophidians to be nerfed. How about we just remove warlocks altogether at this point.
Seriously this community is ridiculous. With the current state of warlocks and how little usage they are getting now. Streamers are calling for one of the only competitive exotics warlocks have to be nerfed, other than transversives.
Now granted they are good
But when you look at the shear amount of exotics other classes have for PvP warlocks are lacking big time. 2 of the top 24 exotics used in Trials are warlocks.
Arc titan and void hunter ability spam in pvp right now is disgusting.
Look at the usage of current exotics and classes and it speaks for itself.
Take away ophidians you may as well just take away warlocks at this point.

Do you really think everything is streamer’s fault when the company is literally nerfing one thing that is probably on the bottom of the “op” list and not the other ones? Streamers complain about other stuff that are MORE TOXIC AND OP, yet bungie chooses ophidian. Yeah totally streamers’s fault. It’s their fault also that the game is trash and unplayable.

8 RepliesWho the heck wants ophidians nerfed? They don’t do anything apart from a handling, reload and melee range buff. Literally slight of hand perk from call of duty lol. Man streamers are so disconnected from the world its insane. So they rather nerf the most basic exotic on the least used class in the game but then go around getting one shots with the recent hunter exotic gyrfalcon? (Or whatever its called) or titans running around with busted arc grenades? The common sense is lacking, maybe these guys need to stop smoking so much pot because its messing with their brain lmao.

3 RepliesNo they shouldn't nerf those gloves. It's probably Hunters again, they are op in every way hence why there are more Hunters in the game. They like it easy to dominate the non sweats but still call it skill. So it isn't surprising when something is in the game to combat the meta isn't hunter, they cry to get it nerfed. Look what happened to the titans for pvp, in the past 2 years all titans best exotics and supers get nerfed sometimes twice. Give it a break Hunters

4 RepliesIf ophidians are so good that they are borderline too OP then why isn't everyone using Warlocks in pvp right now? The pvp community tends to play the class with the most broken crap because "you have to run the op meta crap in order to compete against op meta crap" and clearly if ophidians are that good, the numbers should reflect it, right? Yet Hunter's still dominate and Stompeez are still the most used exotic even after Bungie "killed" them. That's another difference I tend to notice as well. Whenever Bungie "kills" a Hunter or Titan exotic, people still use it all the time but whenever Bungie "kills" a Warlock exotic, nobody ever uses it ever again.

Ophidians are weird. I consider myself a warlock main and I think they need to be dialed down. However, I don’t think that should happen until Warlocks see serious buffs to abilities. In PvP, bc of the nature of warlock abilities, Warlocks have to rely on gunplay more often. Not that Hunters and Titans can’t also focus on gunplay, but they have abilities to to help. Warlock abilities typically do too little damage in PvP, are too situational, or are their to support more gunplay. So until warlocks abilities are made on par with titans and hunters, I’d be okay with an ophidian nerf

This is exactly what happened with icarus dash and top tree dawnblade. Icarus dash was nowhere near as broken as hunter dodge, but hunters cried about top tree dawnblade so much as a red herrings to distract from how blatantly overpowered hunter was as a whole that Bungie, with their infinite wisdom, chose to absolutely gut top tree dawnblade. The only warlock class that was somewhat competitive in crucible and a class that required actual skill to use, not just a braindead, spam dodge as much I can to receive an overwhelming amount of buffs and perks, playstyle, like hunter was. I'm not surprised at all that other class mains are again, finding any little thing that works for warlocks and crying about it, all the while purposely ignoring and denying anything overpowered about their class.

Ophidians deserve a nerf for the same reason - 39% of Warlocks use them. However, I don't believe we should nerf Ophidians until Warlock usage increases. Any nerfs to Ophidians will inevitably drive players away from Warlock EDIT: And why are your posts always so dramatic?
