Well done bungie, you've went and ruined void hunter, I'd rather you just reversed back to pre void 3.0.
There is absolutely no point in this class in PvP now.
Slow clap, I'm done with this game

1 ReplyI'm a hunter main and have been playing invisibility for ever because 99% of the time I solo queue either in trials or qp. Use invisibility as a way to disengage from a fight to save your life. using it to engage not only feels "cheap" but also makes disengage harder. Destiny's solo pvp is more about staying alive rather than just getting a kill and trading.

1 ReplyBlipping the radar every 3 seconds doesn't make the subclass worthless, it just means you might want to adjust how you flank. Now you have the ability to feint while you are flanking. That's seems pretty alright to me.

1 ReplyLmfao. Overreaction.

2 RepliesGoodbye. Until tomorrow, that is.

Seems like alot of people were mad they couldn't just stare at their radar and win tbh given the extremely loud audio cue of invis telling you to look out for them + not actually being invis just being purple and very easy to see. I'd have said yes to a duration nerf but I'm not sure what they've done was the right move, guess I'll just have to play some and see before making a final judgement

2 RepliesTo be honest, I never knew that sprinting or double jumping made you visible on the radar while you were invisible until I read the hotfix. That explained a lot.

Edited by Hysorn: 3/23/2022 6:08:14 PMI am kinda on the fence about this... The nerf isn't all that bad, the issue lies in Bungie designing Nightstalker 3.0 around Invisibility, so hunters kinda lost their only advantage. Titans are great at holding choke points, Warlocks are great at burst damage and just overall support, what's Hunter utility now? It's like crouching with the radar ping, but instead of a snail's pace, it's a turtle's because you are walking this time around. Blinding enemies with smoke bombs from time to time is the closest thing left of true utility, but even then it's really easy to leave the AoE and it doesn't last long, so idk.

3 RepliesAs a 5 year invis hunter main, void 3.0 invis was definitely more toxic and harder on the eyes. The blueish hue while invis made seeing folks and radar more difficult, plus the invis hunter was harder to spot for me. Something changed with the color profiles with witch queen that mess with my eyes...beyond breaking hdr, it felt more whitewashed. With that said, inivs doing a 0.6s ping every 3 seconds is not the way to have fixed it in pvp. It makes the invis in pvp endgame fairly useless with too many try hards running around. Not sure what the right solution was...

1 ReplyK bye

16 RepliesSo basically, you can’t win without catching people off guard. Cool enjoy the nerf.

9 RepliesIf you needed to be off radar AND invisible to be effective, that's on you.

1 ReplyOh no What will I do now Explodes

Try shooting your gun

6 RepliesDid you lose 1 of the 10 hunter crutches?
-
1 ReplyThe better question is: why would all these people b*tch and moan about something tha twas never even an issue until F2P losers infested the game, and all these cry babies with their 0.3 k/d's wanted to blame bright purple hazy Hunters for their own lack of skill

2 RepliesGoodbye
-
Cool. Bye.

17 RepliesTo, I don’t know, not be seen?
-
8 Replies“Ruined.” Yeah, because pinging every 3 seconds ruined invis.
-
So dramatic.

14 RepliesFunny thing as a hunter main I've never liked the invis and always thought it was trash and yet I still don't care it got nerfed. 😂 Arcstrider is still far better as a subclass since the super regen nerfs.
