If the maintenance could not affect the players then why @BungieHelp wrote "Destiny 1 and 2 maintenance is complete. Players who observe issues should report to the Help forum"?! I think Bungie could show us the changes/fixes solved too despite that be background maintenance.

There were no changes. Players were removed so that they could perform regular maintenance on their backend systems.
