BUNGIE! GIVE REP POINT FOR DOE ON XUR BOUNTIES
I noticed as I grind my life for this forerunner catalyst, I see no reputation points for turning in my xur bounties! What is the point for the bounties???

You can blame the people who spent over a year complaining about having to do bounties to level up instead of just doing the content. Now, you have people who want it back - this community can never be happy, can they. Besides, it doesn't take that long to max out the reputation.

Edit: After some thinking, earning rep though the bounties wouldn't be a terrible idea, but imo, it should be done through playing the activity itself rather than doubling down on the bounty cramming we've been continually doing since Y3. Really, I don't know why they didn't just add an activity streak like playlist activities currently use.

Absolutely, couldn't agree more. These 6 player repeatables are boring enough but if the bounties give you rank up points too then there's more point to it. Imo though, DoE is trash.

They changed this last season starting with PvP - people complained about only being able to level up using bounties, so Bungie changed it to levelling up based on actually doing the activity. Actually makes more sense if you think about it - you can only do so many bounties a day, but you can play it as much as you want - that's how some people were able to get it day 1

7 RepliesNo. Want to know why? Because we want to get away from Bounty Grinding being the most optimal way to play the game. My recommendation for bounties overall, pick them up if you are going into an activity, don't look at them, and if you complete them, great, if you don't, that's also fine.

Yeah Xur's bounties,pvp,gambit and vanguard bounties should all give rep for their respective activities otherwise what is the point of them having their own bounties.Bounties in general need to be more rewarding and I'm not talking glimmer or destination materials either.
