Wow, imagine if Bungie could make an all black shader. Probably too hard though right?
If only Bungie, if only.
I am aware of all the shaders that can seem black but none actually are just straight black.

I don't want Gen Z destiny players trying to discover the golden age of Emo music like My Chemical Romance, AFI, and Hawthorne Heights Regardless or not, We should have a standard RGB Solid Color Shader so people can stop complaining about not having the option to make their Hunter into a wannabe Assassin from Assassin's Creed

I'm sure they tried but it meshes weird and might make a character hard to see in crucible on certain maps

Shader system in general is complete rubbish. I'm fed up getting random colours appearing that aren't shown on the shader. Normal, popular colour combos in every other game are hard, if not impossible, to achieve. All black? All white? Whiite/black and gold/silver? Bungie have just never been able to get character customisation right. It's weird cos changing colour scheme is not that difficult to achieve from a dev perspective but is hugely important to a big chunk of any games player base.

all i want is an all Pink shader lmao but in all seriousness having a all black shader would just be the whole P2W roze skin in CoD all over again, like an all black guardian would just hide in dark areas and camp. i get is for fashion reasons but for PvP it would be annoying.

BUT I DON'T SEE ANY GREEN ON IT Why do i get Green on a Shader that has no Green on it and the Gold(Yellow) is never seen on many Guns or Armor... if i don't see any green on the Shader so I DON'T WANT A HIDDEN GREEN ON THE SHADER Edit: oh and Pure White Shaders also manage to have Blue in it that isn't shown...if i have 4 Colours on a Shader i only want those 4 not 5 and the 5th is Hidden... either they show us all Colours on a Shader or just those 4 we can see... i hate it 10-10

I bet if super black shader was in d2 they would find a way to ruin it just like they do to every other shader in the game with some random patterns or color that make no sense.

2 RepliesSuperblack existed in D1. It’s a conscious effort not to introduce it or similar again for likely one of two reasons: 1. They know this would be popular and don’t want everyone wearing all black 2. They know this will be popular and are saving it for an special event etc.

There should be solid single color shaders tbh. Why they don't exist is ridiculous

D1 had lots of solid colour shaders and SuperBlack was one of them. I am going to say this again just add all D1 shaders into D2 job done.

Depending on what ornaments/armor you are using you can achieve this with a few different shaders.

Or atleast one version of the story!
