All thet time and no way to use it
Hi so what i want to no is do You think d2 session r to long we get about 190 days in a session the first session of every dlc has a campaign and session pass content so its not to bad but the sessions after thet You just get weeky horde modes thet get boring fast and normal have a story thets just 6 weeks long then all You have to do is level up if You have not by then so i think bungie needs to stop with the horde modes and give as more to do or sortin the sessions or and i think this is the best option drop the session modey and use a dlc modey like in d1 what do You think and Please say y

23 RepliesThis is a much longer season than usual because Witch Queen got pushed back. That being said, I am a-ok with these longer seasons because you know what? No FOMO over "if I dont play I'll miss out on XY or Z". I can get to a point on Destiny where I'm prepped and do things as they come along. And if I dont want to run something that week? I can play these wondrous things called [i]other games![/i]

In my opinion, the game encourages burnout currently. Everything is always dripfed a few hours a week. I enjoy the weeks that nothing happens as it allows one to catch up on missed work and/or take a break.

13 RepliesSeasons are roughly 12-14 weeks normally. 6-7 weeks of that we get story content, 3-4 weeks of it we get an event, and we tend to have a final thing a few weeks after the last of the 6-7 weeks of story. So in reality we only have about 2-4 weeks without content per season. This season is an exception because of the Witch Queen being delayed till February. Compared to the D1 model where we got content in September, and then an update in April that amounted to 3 story missions and a strike. Then another expansion next September with a seasonal activity sprinkled through the year like with D2. The difference is even if the quality is “better” the amount of time the content lasts is the same. A player that does Court of Oryx everyday for 3 weeks will encounter every possible boss or combination of bosses. But then what? They’ve done it all, they’ve got all the items and quests related to it, so it’s just as useless as any D2 seasonal activity. But you have to wait vastly more time to have something new to do.

1 ReplyThis is the first season that is this long usually they are 10 weeks give or take. The alternate is long droughts with no content for 4 months
