For everyone complaining about banner stacks
Hey! Banner is end game pvp, only difference is its 6 players instead of 3, and it has an objective, other than that banner is sweaty, and sweaty activities will bring teams of stacks and also just fireteams to deal with, now you can sit in those games playing solo and have a horrible time, or! Now here me out, this sounds crazy, like really crazy, off the charts crazy, but they made this wonderful playlist SOLO BANNER! go play that if you ain’t stacking and you’ll find yourself having a fun time rather than coming to the forums to complain about stacks, they listened and they gave you a way out. Play solo playlist.... it’s easy and I get so confused when I play banner and the majority of the other team are solo players, like do people not know about it....

Lol the matchmaking has made it so not sweaty. It amazes me that people actually need 2.0 stacks to win. I joined an LFG post "Iron banner must be dog water(bad) at game" and we mercied every game. Around 12 of them before we split off lol

1 ReplyTo me there’s 3 different kinds of FT’s Friend Stack(Casual Shenanigans here!) Players that have been playing together for years My favorite! Nothing more satisfying than bagging your online BFF teammates! Clan Stack(A little more intense than Friends) Top Fragging Competition within your clanmates aka bragging rights) More Meta usage LFG Sweat Stacks(Must have 2.0+ to pub stomping) Complete Meta S tier x6 And IMO the most boring way to play. You wind up mercying every game and wind up fighting your own teammates for final blows. Constantly running back and forth, flipping spawns and spawn killing. No 1v1’s anywhere in sight. It’s as boring as it sounds. It’s also toxic a d even cannibalistic to the playlist. JMO. Oh and the Hunt mechanic in IB has broke the gamemode since the day it was introduced. They can’t move away from it fast enough.

I just solo normal mode, it puts you with a few other randoms and a 3 stack, teams aren't usually a stomp and it was balanced pretty fairly most of the time when I did the new IB quest. I found that Freelance can be worse due to Flawless/Unbroken solos farming all the low level players and it being a lot of stomp or be stomped mercies back to back, its a farm mode for streamers. Freelance would only really work with some amount of SBMM. Just solo normal mode, its not horrible, get the bounties and do the mission, get some loot.

All these anti social nerds like to convince themselves they're doing the honorable thing by solo queuing. No. If you had friends that wanted to play, you'd play with them. If you have friends that want to play and you tell them to piss off because you only solo... That's weird. You probably shouldnt bother playing a game built around fireteam cooperation. Again. It's a game meant to be fun and played with friends. Are lfg stacks with kd requirements built specifically to bulldoze fun to play against? No, but the vast majority of clan stacks are buddies playing their game with friends because it's more enjoyable that way.

Honestly don't get all the complaining im often 40 levels below most people in stacked iron banner and still do just fine most the tine

Edited by NefariousNarwhal: 2/28/2021 11:09:45 AMWhile I do agree that it's silly to complain about people squading up for a game mode that both allows and encourages you to squad up, calling iron banana endgame PVP is a stretch considering you can do it at any time instead of unlocking after you complete the campaign. The only way I would agree with your sentiment would be if the banana had sbmm instead of cbmm.

Agreed ...they made the solo playlist for a reason. If you are queing for the regular playlist, as a solo and complain about teams...you are an extra kind of special. Regular IB is for coordinated fire teams, i just dont get the problem here. It seems that some are asking for team coordination, while not wanting to have teams coordinating... that makes no damn sense. How can this even be a complaint ? If you go into a "SOLO" freelance mode..you cant expect coordination amongst individual players when there is no "TEAM". What part of this concept is hard to understand ?

I’ve just had a match against a full clan crutching stasis honestly I didn’t understand how bad it was but yeah when a full team a crutch the win solely off stasis then there’s something wrong.

I ran in a six stack earlier today. However all of us ran double primary and no stasis. Theres freelance iron banner. Why people decide to face potential stack teams and then complain about it, knowing theres a playlist specifically for solo players is odd.

The Iron Turd by The Salad Bin has progressed. It's a lot less grinding it out for pinnacles. It still sucks for the most part but now it's the Flaming Turd.
