I am playing Final Fantasy VIII for the first time.
Please tell me I am not going crazy but the music playing in the background reminds me of a lot of Lost Odyssey's sound track.
No I am not knocking this game for it because that would be stupid since this game came first, just a similarity I noticed.

5 RepliesYes. There I think there was some crossover between the two teams if I recall correctly or a least they talked about inspiration coming from VIII. I don’t know. It was a while ago that I played it. Not sure. Regardless, I was not surprised to read you thought this. A lot of FFVIII will remind you of Lost Odyssey. Enjoy the ride. VIII is probably on my top 5 games.
