Don't know what your talking about, me and all my friends are grinding our asses off and buying lots of silver at the minute, keep it rocking Bungie, content x 2 👍

i did not enjoy waiting so long for something to happen, i was HUNGRY. but when it actually happened, it was pretty amazing. i don’t regret wasting my time or eating so late.

2 RepliesFinal thought: I really liked the in-game feeling of things going on. Very interesting to me that they can do this without an update. The crash sequence was awesome. Even had physics. Getting together in the Tower was really cool. Everyone focused on what would happen next. The amount of time it took for the thing we all knew would happen..to happen..was too long. I understand why, but it was still too long. What would have REALLY SET IT OFF, was a hidden mission into the Almighty, or a quest that pops up saying the same. Maybe give an ornament for Skyburners or something. Im looking forward to similar events, or world happenings moving forward.

1 Replyso who else left before the end? Showed up about 10 mins before reset, sat there for an hour and 15 minutes and left to go play a crucible match. I thought it was over and missed the ending... lmao.

Edited by SwankyButters: 6/6/2020 10:35:17 PMYou know if THIS is all we got from The Almighty, I can't imagine the June 9 reveal is going to be anything worth watching either...
-
2 RepliesWhat did I miss? I was doing session work. Was it everything you thought it would be and more?
-
I think it was a pretty cool event the sky lit up like a tactical nuke was going off and you can see it descending and crash. The only thing people are mad about is that bungie said be there at reset but it didn't actually explode till an hour and 15 after that. You could see missles slowly making it way toward it, but they did that on purpose i guess to build suspense but it was very very slow suspense to the point where people thought it was bugged, plus i also think part of it is people just didnt know what to expect because this has never happend before.

9 RepliesBring cayde 6 back at least he knew how to blow things up in style

It was ok at best........

Sure was a tad bit long but me and my boys liked it so, I'm fine with it
-
2 Replies30 seconds of excitement, a massive bang, and then a faint whiff of apology and embarrassment. Might have been better calling it ‘First Shag’ instead of ‘Almighty’...

12 RepliesWhen those red lines showed up I was like O_____O

1 ReplySo was that the "had to be there" moment. Trash, I can't believe it's almost 5am here and I stayed up to watch that. I know I didn't have to but I thought it was going to be something amazing.
-
15 RepliesThe last 20 minutes was pretty awesome. I think they could’ve done it a little different though. Maybe they could’ve pushed the first hour behind reset and said things will be changing before and after reset. This was their first event like this, so we need to give them some constructive criticism to help them improve this in the future. “This event sucks” won’t help them to improve in the future.

Xd the edit,was like that

1 ReplyThis could have been so much better...ugh. why do we still think bungie actually cares about making good content anymore
-
2 RepliesEdited by JazzyPaladin477: 6/6/2020 8:40:23 PMWtf? What happened? What live event? I see all this talk about a live event but nothing at all on the app about it, nothing in the twab. How did everyone know about it? That was some shit communication.
-
1 ReplyI missed it. I'm sure I was doing something more interesting. Like cleaning the bathroom or folding laundry.

Edited by SwankyButters: 6/6/2020 9:32:48 PMThat was terrible... I go to the Tower and The Almighty is gone already? I mean... WTF was that??? Wow, so anticlimactic... I mean we hardly saw the F#&$ing thing!!! Lord have mercy, these pointless tasks bungo has us do...
-
Well, that was a waste of time.......😴😴😴
-
Underwhelming as expected
-
it took about 7.30 pm bst for the explosion to happen but only an tiny part near savala got hit that's it .
-
That shit made me lol

I watched it on YouTube hoping Bungie might do something exciting with their most illogical threat, but no I got a great laugh at how extremely a terrible, illogical, and waste of time this entire plot was to it's very end. I just sighed and said "People are hyped about this? Why?"

2 RepliesThe money shot at the end was not worth the hour and a half wait. Just sayin

9 RepliesI liked it overall, nice to see something in world. It should have been shorter, a lot shorter. Would have been hilarious if the shockwave had killed all the players in the tower. Camera pans out and there’s just ghosts everywhere... Oh well.
