The time you have invested in your stuff should be respected.
this is the part the BDF is failing to recognize. saying "that was 6 years ago, things change." the change: Bungie is no longer respecting the time players invest into the game. how can you be ok with that?
-
6 RepliesPlenty of things change over 6 years for a million reasons. This is a ridiculous post.
-
1 ReplyAnd you believed them.
-
Aka we here you! So here are nerfs for all your hard work and btw enjoy them while you can because they have a shelf life now... If we didn't already nerf them into the ground that is
-
This is nothing new. Bungie always fails on their promises overhypes shit makes new promises then goes back on those promises too. It’s been this way for some time .
-
14 RepliesA promise that they could never keep. Like my promising to give you a billion dollars.
-
14 RepliesThat’s from 2014...
-
1 ReplyThat was 2014!!!! 2014!! THAT WAS DESTINY 1

Liars!
Not gunna lie, it’s pretty petty and intellectually dishonest to hold weight behind a six year old quote after everything that’s happened. If you look back on halo, Bungie had no experience with anything they were doing with destiny. Weapon balance was something Bungie got right once and never had to tweak. That just isn’t destiny. Adding weapons is a requirement but ends up causing unforeseen problems. That’s something that Bungie in 2014 was yet to realize. Destiny 1 didn’t even teach them that they couldn’t keep to that statement.

It’s a complete lack of respect for your customers time. That’s what it is.

1 ReplyDon't forgot the "You were there comment" regarding gear from an event / era now being either dropped in world / retired / purchasable at a discount now. THIS PISSES ME OFF!!! I might be calling it a day @dmg @bungo Spawn_osk > 7,000 hours

3 RepliesA yes, a quote from six years ago, on a different game, with a different publisher, and more man power. Things change. Get over it.
-
2 Repliesis it a lie? or the fact that the quote is 6 years old, and Destiny is a unique IP in a category of game that no other developer has gotten right, that requires trial and error and time to evolve.

32 RepliesRemember when you signed the D.A.R.E. pledge in elementary school? We’re all liars, buddy.

Well it's come to the point that the meta exists and everyone copies each other.

True and Nice Post Dude.

This like everything else they say only applies that day. After that they most certainly will screw it up. Which they are about to do in a huge way. Bungie will you guys ever learn? Or will it take running your company in to non existence for you to realize you should not try again what did not work out well for you the first time. Once again. Time for a break from Desitiny. Saves me from buying the next dlc twice.

Liars!

I logged in to upvote this. Also, I won't play Destiny 2 again with these changes.

2 RepliesWe had this same exact thread after Y1 of D1, ya know when they retired legendaries like Fatebringer! It's dejavu!

11 RepliesEdited by CheeksthemClaps: 3/6/2020 2:03:39 PMI grinded so hard to come this far, but in the end it doesn't even matter

You are a true lie detector, thanks!

17 RepliesThings really change in 6 years, don’t they?
-
8 RepliesBlame datto.. they love this guy and he actually runs Bungie not the devs..😂😂
-
They’re shitbags. Much like tobacco companies. The only way is to stop funding them. And stop playing. They get revenue from EVERVERSE and from selling seasons. Investments and equity by showing growth in revenue and playing time. They control the narrative. We control the revenue. Again. Their product is as addictive as cigarettes. Quitting is the the way.

3 RepliesThis was in 2014, when bungie and Activision were together and had different plans.
