Please do not nerf Revoker Sniper Rifle.
Instead can we have a new weapon mod that guarantees a bullet return on a weapon. For instance if I roll a Twilight Oath with Mulligan, could I place a Mulligan Enhancement Mod that increases the likelihood of returning a round fired?
And or Introduce a Sniper Ritual Pinnacle weapon with Ac Rounds, Overflow, Mulligan, Range Masterwork?
Revoker is perfect the way it is. I personally don’t agree with Aztecross. And I think that introducing another Sniper Rifle perhaps in the upcoming Strikes as a Ritual Weapon would be better than a straight up nerf to a weapon like Revoker.

Hell no. 100% not in PvP. No weapon should reward ammo back at the expense of missing the shot. No way. No chance. You can guarantee if a shotgun or fusion rifle had this perk there would be uproar. So why should a sniper rifle be an exception?
-
Honestly the only nerf revoker needs is +10 to scope zoom to bring it in line with every other aggressive sniper.
-
I feel that revoker shouldn’t reward players for missing shots, but for landing shots instead. I know that the fact that you get shots back on every miss is what makes it fun, as it allows you to go for shots you wouldn’t have tried with another sniper, but I don’t think you should ever be guaranteed ammo from missing a shot. I think it would be cool if they were to change it to where getting a precision kill should have a chance to return ammo back to the mag. I don’t think it should be a 100% chance either, but a high enough chance to still make it viable. It’d kinda be like a reverse mulligan.

Here’s what’s probably gonna happen trials will come out everyone is gonna use the revoker who acquired it then people who haven’t got it will complain and then bungie will nerf it. The same thing happened to the lunas howl and the not forgotten and every other gun or ability in destiny 1 and 2 , so it will happen but the question is when.

1 ReplyI love the gun but the perk never fit the idea of ‘skill based reward’ like other crucible pinnacles. It will be really broken in elimination game mode where you can camp and kiss your shots forever basically. Having a bullet refund on headshot final blows would be much better for a pinnacle perk, more balanced and maybe even give the gun some PvE utility.
-
Don’t use it and they won’t nerf t, simple 😂
-
It’s very broken.... probably should be reworked into a 140 sniper
-
It’s coming. Just played a comp match and one dude had special ammo the entire match and did nothing but snipe. Its aim assist must be out of this world because he snapshot news sliding 20 ft in front of him. It’s extremely unfun to play against that every game. Overall not excited about trials at all because I’m not a pvp hardcore and never will be because I hate using handcannons. Barely a 1.0 KD even though my emblem says I’m around 1.4. Hoping the pve activity this season is good.

Revoker is going to be be full blow (redacted) in trials
-
Should the Revoker be nerfed? No. Should the Revoker be allowed to return ammo In PVP especially for competitive modes? Absolutely Not. Should the perk be changed to allow the return of ammo upon hitting a headshot? -blam!- no!!! The reward for landing the headshot is getting the kill. Literally it’s like saying a machine gun, fusion, shotgun, or rocket should get ammo back when you kill someone. Getting a headshot on a sniper isn’t a thing of challenge at all. Honestly this wouldn’t even be an issue if you didn’t spawn with special ammo.

1 ReplyThey can never nerf our spirit, Our fun can’t be revoked.👍
-
Trials is incoming. Nothing is safe from the nerfs.
-
10 RepliesNo Weapon should reward you for missing . Get a Headshot get a Bullet back.
-
1 ReplyBad idea, then everyone will just farm that mod and the entire crucible will be hardscope lanes

9 RepliesEdited by an Ape with a d2 addiction: 2/25/2020 12:35:22 PMInfinite blindshotting 'till something happens to connect will become infinitely more valuable when the value per life goes exponentially up and the less you expose yourself to risk the better. You can (figuratively) spam hipfire shots until something happens to hit with Revoker. Each time bungo's nerfed a pvp pinnacle, it was because it offered too much effectiveness for too little effort. (In-use effort; not effort in aquiring the gun. The aquiring effort is irrelevant for balancing consideration). It's possible they'll tweak it.

3 RepliesEdited by michael: 2/26/2020 1:49:43 AMEnhanced mulligan?????????????????????????????????????????? If you miss with a gun that kills in one hit from any range on the map you should not get rewarded with a second chance. And then a third and a fourth and however many chances it takes to get the kill. That makes no sense. You either get the kill or you miss and try again when you have ammo.
-
2 RepliesThey should nerf it. It breaks the ammo economy just as much as scavengers do. Why should you be rewarded for missing? Straight bs. Just make it every 3 headshot kills gives you 1 ammo back. If it was 1hs=1ammo it would be broken in pve
-
No. Revoker should be exotic or in the power slot, end of story.
-
Doesn’t need a nerf. Never needed one
-
Honestly...I'd be ok if it was just moved to the adaptive archetype. Maybe even rapid fire. It...may need a tweak man. It is a little nutty, and this is coming from someone who uses it a ton.
-
It's such a crutch. Bungies not nerfing it. Noting like landing 4+ high cal pulse shots and still getting sniped.

10 RepliesIt is so iffy. I personally never would’ve never gotten as good at sniping as I am no with revoker being my training wheels. I had shots the entire match. I would quick scope, snap onto people, slide shoot, no scope, aerial shots just for the heck of it and over time I have become so good that I can use beloved. Which is so much better. However, there is a huge problem. If the other sniper is really good, peaking changes. Both go in in a split second not really thinking about where the shot will go but hoping the person is there, and if not oh well. You get it back. It is an issue and needs a nerf. At higher play it’s too much.
