Antaeus Wards perk rework?

Ok so the exotic perk from the antaeus wards is either bugged or super inconsistent and needs a patch. The description says it will improve slide and reflect projectiles. Supposed to even reflect, or have the chance to reflect them back at the shooter too, except it doesn't work consistently, or you will reflect the projectiles into parts of your legs and/or body to take even more damage. The description isn't exactly clear. The way it reads, it makes you think you can play slightly more aggressive but in reality it makes you play more reckless. You end up trying to use the perk in your favor instead of playing the way you normally would, and end up failing. Not because of your mistakes either. The description should probably be changed into reading "sliding into projectiles will give a slight damage reduction while having the chance to reflect some of those projectiles back to the environment and the user". (since you don't reflect all of the projectiles in that small window.) Then the hitbox where it reflects needs to be expanded so you won't reflect projectiles back into yourself. Or not reflect them at all and just give you damage reduction. It does work sometimes I will say, just not enough, it will fail more times than it works. Seeing yourself reflect a Nova bomb one second then the next you reflect it to an area right next to you for the explosion to kill you anyways is disheartening. Shotgun rounds, hand cannon and pulse rifles the same way. You reflect some of the rounds back so you are down to a sliver of health and can make the kill, the next you reflect it to a misadventure death. Reflection should be from the direction it came or away from your body and it should be consistent. We shouldn't take the additional damage from reflecting those rounds

  • The Antaeus Wards should have been a chest piece that reflected projectiles when you double tap 'O' (or whatever crouch is on your platform of choice), with a short cooldown.

    • AW doesn't reflect damage back at yourself. They are bugged to not stop you from taking fatal damage. If you reflect something that has enough damage to kill you then the shot will still be reflected you you die anyway. You can test this yourself by reflecting the main cannon on a Walker.

      • They just kinda buggy (at least in PvP but they still pretty good) and there are some weapons it can’t reflect.

      • I think if they just reworked it to magnetise and catch rockets in pvp, we’d be cool.
