So... I got banned from Destiny 2 and I wish I knew why, I've spent much of my time on the original game and also this one. I genuinely love this game for its lore and gameplay. It sucks that this happened to me an I would love to know how I got banned. I'm going to share my steam profile and see if that helps. Any knowledge would be useful and thank you.

1 Reply1) You cheated and made it obvious, wall hacks, aimbot, etc 2) You accidentally had some weird app running in the backround, could be a video editor, could be a mod you forgot to close for another game.

A few recently banned accounts. “Wrongfully banned. Please fix Bungie” Ban was upheld by BNGSecurity. “Sealed my account for no reason” Ban was upheld by BNGSecurity. “Banned for absolutely no reason” Ban was upheld by BNGSecurity. I could list so many. So, if you want to pursue your claim of innocence then you may end up with a very red face. Doing something once / 1 time does not lead to a restriction or ban unless you are using code injecting software or cheating in some way. Connection based restrictions or bans you are given a warning about your connection first before any restriction or ban is places. Bungie investigates accounts before they hand out any restrictions or bans. After investigating your account, they found a reason. They will not remove this restriction/ban. On the occasions they do respond, the answer will give a date and a very brief reason which will be one of the following below. 1. Cheating 2. Any software being detected by Destiny while it's running. These could include Trainers, Aimbots, Auto-fire, Mods, Graphics Hacks, anything that injects code into games. 3. An unstable connection is having an impact on other players. The Bungie monkey at HQ reviews it. And they decide if it was warranted or not. Intentionally or not your account broke the rules. Ignorance of the rules doesn't exempt you from them. Your account is done. There is literally nothing you can do about it. So your only two options are to buy the content again or move on. If you pray hard enough maybe just maybe the monkey that runs the BNGSecurity account will care enough to give you an extremely vague reason as to why a punishment was issued. The chances of that happening are slim to none. Here's some examples of other kids who "did nothing wrong" that the BNGSecurity account replied to. http://imgur.com/a/jBV3uqq Pick your poison and live with it
