Show some respect. You don't know who you are vs in PvP
PersonallyI lack the same vision that a lot of you have. I only see out of one eye. Have done my whole life. It means I have a slower reaction than most, and I rely solely through single vision for everything. It makes playing PvP hard. Yes you don't know that, but its stupidly insulting to get messages abusing me to 'get good' when I know I never will be. Hey I'm ok with not being the best. When I play crucible I enjoy myself. Surprisingly the lack of complete vision and a slower reaction still puts me at pretty good odds to out snipe other people.
I understand many of you are good at what you do. Congrats. Good work I applaud you for having the skills to do so.
What I don't respect is the way some of you treat other people.
You don't know the person you are playing, so play with some respect and play right.
Sending salty messages, being a total jerk and what not doesn't prove your better. It only shows you have no class.
For all you know you could be vs an older person with poor reaction times, a person with a disability, a person who has social anxiety. If they aren't good at crucible then they are doing it just to have fun, earn some rewards, have a laugh and just muck around.
Yes I have managed to earn my way to getting the Recluse and the Revoker and Mountaintop. It proves some of us can do it. But again it's the lack of respect from the PvP community that angers me.
I'm not sensitive about it, win or lose I don't care. I just think attitudes need to change in a game where you are meant to have fun. Not be insulting, and behaving like a classless foul just to show off.
You might be good at PvP but nobody outside would know you from a bar of soap.

21 RepliesSadly, the internet has ruined a vast majority of human interaction. It’s not just this game, it’s any online activity. The absolute WORST in some people comes flying out of their mouth or typed off their fingertips. The reason for all of this you ask? ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY The perps aren’t just kids either. Grown adults spout off constantly, saying and/or typing things that they’d NEVER say in a public setting face to face with their target of the day. I speak as a father, and I implore any parent to raise their children with respect for other humans, no matter their differences. And if you’re not a parent, just be a better human.

As long as I keep fighting bottom-of-the-barrel gamers with OEM, Shotguns, Roaming Supers, Shoulder Charge.... the list can go on.. I will GLADLY be as toxic as humanly possible, ruining the experience for those people. They deserve it.

7 RepliesIf you are not good, why go into comp and waste your team mates time? I don’t go into raids at all because I don’t want to waste people’s time. That’s you being selfish, you don’t need the comp guns , just like I don’t need the raid weapons and amour, if I wanted them bad enough I would invest the time to learn the raid and make sure I added value in my attempt. Practice in regular pvp , and wait to go into comp until you can add some value to your team, even if it’s just shadowing and helping someone who is pushing.

1 ReplyWouldn't be much of a problem if the pinnicale rewards were obtainable to everyone in the first place instead of through one game mode. Also they act that way because they have safety being that screen and can act like complete 30 year old children without consequences. Or you know they can be that kid that doesn't have a life outside of a video game as well. Either which way you slice it. When a game devloper gives the opportunity for someone to be a complete ass that person will take it because they have nothing better to do. I got to legend slogged my way back down a rank to finish my not forgotten. Got my mida catalyst as well. I refuse to enter crucible unless it's necessary now. Elitism still exist and it won't go away any time soon. Not until devlopers take a stand against it an ban people for being asses to someone else.

Their confidence comes from pushing buttons when their asses are dog food in a real world fight. They'll talk big behind a screen...it's what inbreeds do. Phuck them and keep playing. Someone's already kicked their ass in Destiny already. Some people with disabilities don't even get hassled, but some do. Not everyone will understand...but you don't have to care. 3 RepliesI don’t know dude, no disrespect meant but, your post seems kinda weird to me. I’m disabled, pretty badly so, and I never once got a bad thing sent to me by anyone. They enjoy teabagging me after they kill me, but other than that nobody says squat. My kill death record in pvp is .75, I’m terrible. I’ve never done any trials or raids because I don’t want to be with people who don’t have the patience of a saint, lol, so I just stay by myself. To me, you’re good at this game, that’s why people message you with hate, and in my opinion, your post is a bit self serving. I’d gladly switch places with you. I think you just wanted people to tell you you’re a good guy and a good player despite your physical issue. So fair enough, some days I’m depressed and need a pick me up too. Well done my friend, you’re a good player and a good guy, hope everything works out for you!

What we need is an option in PvP to let us do matchmaking preferences like if you want a experienced lobby you can pick it or a casual lobby you can pick that I think Halo Reach had this if I'm not mistaking.

Im sorry to hear that you had a bad experience in pvp. I get where your v coming from i really do, but we all get tbagged, we all get trash mail, and we all encounter jerks on the internet. Just dont lose your cool. Ignore them. Aside from that fact, i think it would be cool if tech manufacturers like the ones who make VR head sets would make some for one eyed people. I don't know if this would help adapt FOV for you or not but it's just a thought.
