Well...this is embarrassing to say the least...
I recently 1v1ed a trash talker in destiny only using white weapons and won.
People were saying I made it up, so I put a screenshot of it.
Well apparently that breaks the witch hunt rules of the subreddit. Which I didn’t know was a thing.....
I probably should have read the rules but I’m banned for 30 days.
This is a great way to start the week....

2 RepliesOkay hold on, Reddit can post “explicit” pictures (-blam!- you Discord friends) without bans, yet this gets you banned?!

Edited by ramthesocket: 8/14/2019 11:22:32 PMIt sounds like you got b8ed

Guess you'll have to go outside now.

6 RepliesRemind me to avoid it, then. I got a warning from PhoenixSong back in my Potter Fandom days because I dared to say that Ron and Hermione were a messy divorce waiting to happen. Rather than give the ship my blessing, I never returned to the site.

Eh. Offtopic has more character than a bunch of the gaming subs combined.

8 RepliesThe only thing I could think of after reading this is "You must be 13 years or older to use the Bungie forums."

2 RepliesThey’re just jealous of that seventh column my dude.

22 RepliesWow, never actually new you played destiny.
feelsbad about the ban though

dootdoot
Reddit is weird. There are few hard administrative rules beyond no doxxing, no brigading, and no calls to violence, so the subreddits are left to come up with their own. I've seen as many posts with gamertags and usernames uncensored as posts with this info censored, for example. Generally, however, subreddits are more strictly moderated than b.net and far stricter than 4chan, so use discretion when posting in gaming subreddits. Selective enforcement of sitewide rules, though, is a whole different story.

1 ReplyRemember that the Destiny community is currently one of the most toxic out there. I recommend just not interacting with them outside of the people you already know and play with

Reddit is a -blam!-ing dumpster fire my dude, this tends to happen a lot. I've been on Reddit for just under 80 days and I've gotten banned from all of Reddit for 3 days over an ANTI -godwinslaw!- JOKE on an ANTIFA RUN SUBREDDIT FFS. (I'm not associated with anitfa, and it was dumb to engage with them when I look back.) Reddit doesn't give a damn about their own site, the mods run the site and you are at their mercy 24/7.

6 RepliesWhat guns were you using? Did you know what they used?
Sorry Partner, but You’ve Yeed your last Haw
-
Do you have the link to the post? Even if they “remove” it, people can still see them if you link it
-
1 ReplyYeah, but you know what you have that they probably don't? A Seventh Column.
-
They did you a favor. Stay off game-specific sub reddits because you're not allowed to have any opinion or valid argument on something you dislike about a game.
-
8 RepliesSo you're banned from the Destiny subreddit, you can still post anywhere else. Just be sure to read the rules next time.
