That's what keeps me around. I no longer chase the latest exotics as soon as they drop, knowing they will soon get nerfed. I play for fun and the experience and not the loot anymore.

Yeah it's a better way to play. If you chase loot you'll just get disappointed and frustrated, especially with how much time-limited things there are in this game. Bungie clearly don't want people to ever get or finish everything, which makes this game a completionist's nightmare.

I know one guy from my old clan who quit the game after getting only arm pieces to drop as powerful gear for 2 weeks straight 🤣! I thought he was joking when he said he quit but he never came back to D2 since! Me, I don't care to level up fast so whatever RNG bestows upon me I don't sweat it (plus now we have menagerie which helps fix that problem). I haven't had a new exotic to drop since Season of the Drifter until yesterday! Lol. Most people would've quit by now! I don't chase these things anymore and enjoy the game better this way

Yup. I've got all of the achievements for both Destiny games. I do every piece of content at least once. But trying to do all triumphs and complete the collections is just not feasible.
