How am I suppose to get the exotic sniper if the game wont give me a rare bounty?

May just be me but I focused on completing all available bounties every day and I’ve had 3 drop. I always turn multiple in at once instead of one at a time but that’s just me assuming my chances stack. Either way it’s worked for me but I feel your pain. Just make sure you do as many bounties as regularly as possible.

I have a gauntlets, chest, bond. Guess who didn’t get a helmet or boots after grinding out 35 Forge polymers just trying to finish the damn Rare Bounty to get to Shattered Throne before it left today. 🖐🏻 Guess who never got to attempt Shattered Throne for the quest this week because of that. 🖐🏻

1 ReplyI'm about to finish Bounty#4, so they seem to drop about once per week, assuming that you are completing all black armory bounties on a daily basis. Data miners discovered that the mysterious box quest would require a rare bounty as part of a time-gated step, so I saved a rare bounty until that quest step went live. Once done, I picked up Izanagi's Burden with the help of other clan mates a few hours later. Yeah, it sux that Bungie implemented this quest in its current order. Many in my clan were fortunate enough to get tipped off by youtube streamers with saving the rare quest turn-in, but for those not wanting any spoilers, I understand their reason for griping.

5 RepliesEasy fix!! Switch the order of the damn bounty, make shattered throne first!!! Problem mostly solved... Iv bin grinding for 5 hours now and still haven't gotten a bounty to drop from a forge. Turned in all my daily bounty's and still nothing... has anyone grinded for this long and gotten a bounty to drop from a forge??

As we have tried we have failed bungie just doesnt care anymore about how The community responds to quest they care more about a typo then a bug that caused players to wait 3 weeks for the sniper and wont say anything for putting the time gate after the rng lockout

6 RepliesIf you dont get it this week, wait until next week... complete it before next curse comes but dont turn it in and then turn it in when curse comes back... Its not exactly rocket science. It DOES suck that you have to wait a few more weeks, but D1 guardians had to wait a year? Maybe more, for Gjallarhorn. And, no need to fear, its "Good" but it wont be replacing most kits any time soon.
