Can we officially call Black Armory hot garbage now?
Or do we have to wait on the Last Word quest to make it official?

I like the somewhat easy weapon farm, I like the new weapons and exotics, and I like the lore. I wish they wudda made it a little bigger content wise tho, the story line was kinda lackluster.

2 RepliesYou can do what ever you want but you don’t speak for the entire community. My self? I have rather enjoyed Black Armory so far. I find all 4 forges to be lots of fun, my favorite being the 3rd forge. The guns are pretty cool too and having a clear path to acquiring them is nice. I also really love the armor and the exotics are bad ass. The Labs event was a flop but not a deal breaker.

I find BA to be a good piece of content in general, but it had and still provides a LOT of bad decisions in game design as well as bugs. So it’s 50/50 IMO

22 RepliesIf thats youre opinion, cool. But honestly ive really enjoyed it. A chill replayable activity, with amazing top tier weapons to farm god rolls. Amazing mods, a great raid which also has great weps, and 3 badass new exotics. All for what? $10? No complaints here. Me and my clan have been having a blast farming new weps then taking them into the raid for fun.

Enjoying it for what it is. I payed 10 bucks and got more then 20 hours out of it.... wouldn’t call that a failure any time. I’ve payed 60 bucks for games that lasted much less.

I would have cut them slack if you could pick up a frame and run the forge straight up, but the padding just makes the whole experience boring, concluding with the disappointment when you repeatedly craft hand cannons with shield disorient and disruption break. The cluster--blam!- that was the last forge is just the cherry on top.

2 RepliesSure the execution was bad, they tried something new. Don’t treat it like previous dlc, it’s not the same can’t compare it. Apples and oranges. I would rather have this formula going forward. It last for much longer as feels I got my money’s worth. Previous dlc felt I went through some story levels and was done the same day I stared it with minimal objective to go after.

3 RepliesWell I wouldn't call it a hot mess or anything like that but I would call it more of the same. The forges are nice since they do add a new activity with loot that is worth grinding for (unlike blind well), but are extremely tedious. The new raid is really fun and enjoyable but is very short with minimal gear that is worth getting. I feel that if you are enjoying destiny 2 then this will probably be for you. Me personally though it has sorta killed my enthusiasm to play the game. I may login to try out the final forge and what not but the repetition is starting to get to me. Just my two cents worth.

I wouldn't say its garbage, it's release and execution have been downright atrocious though. It's a good repeatable activity with control over what you want. That's probably what has been lacking the most. Eventually RNG sucks the life out of everyone, so it's nice to have an area where you can focus on getting specific weapons you want. I The story hasn't been told very well. The black armory lore being RNG is kinda a head scratcher. Look that story up online. It's a cool story.

Meh. I've enjoyed it and definitely feel like I've had my tenner's worth. Soloing the quest for Izanagi's burden alone was very satisfying. On top of that, I'm loving the aesthetic of the black armoury gear and weapons.

1 ReplyNo, for around $11 for a little dlc it’s not that bad.... way better than Curse of Osiris and Warmind. All in all this dlc gave us really good new legendary weapons, fun and/or useful exotics, niche armor (but most armor is nowadays), a new grind activity with good weapons as a reward. Also the raid, oml the raid is by far the best thing from Black Armory.... like everything about it is so perfectly done, the weapons are really nice to use, armor looks good for the most part, the exotic is very unique and fun, also has a higher drop chance than 1K voices. Overall good micro dlc for $11.

1 ReplyHere's a thought. How about you guys that hate this game so much just stop playing it? D2 year one was trash, and knew it was going to be trash before the beta was even released. I bought the base game, but sure as hell didn't prepay for the expansions. Know what amazing thing I did when I got tired of it, I STOPPED PLAYING. It wasn't until they made some changes that I thought were interesting that I gave it another try. Even then I still didn't jump all in and pre order D2 or the season pass. I don't get why people would pay for Forsaken and the season pass when they were so bitter about year one. Then come on here whine and complain because Bungie let you down and disappointed you. Some will never be satisfied no matter what changes or additions are made. Those people need to recognize who they are and just play something else, don't come back just to nitpick on everything in the game. I am in no way saying this game is perfect. I have my fair share of complaints about it, but I still have fun with it and that is why I keep playing. There is no problem with constructive criticism, but some just complain about everything. Those people should do themselves a favor and play something else. I hear about so many other great games, go play those.
