Reasons raid participation is lower raid loot is generally not interesting who wants ghost primus everyone wanted a black hammer just saying. You can get to max level by never stepping anywhere near a raid I think raids, trials, IB , high score nightfalls should be the only routes to max power if your not doing those there is no reason to have max power anyway
Reasons raid participation is lower raid loot is generally not interesting who wants ghost primus everyone wanted a black hammer just saying.
This is true but it's a lot more than just that. I haven't run any of the raids yet but will attempt the new one soon. Reason being is this isn't D1 to where you had a variety of random rolls that you always had a chance to improve your stats to improve how much damage you would take.
You can get to max level by never stepping anywhere near a raid I think raids, trials, IB , high score nightfalls should be the only routes to max power if your not doing those there is no reason to have max power anyway
I disagree, just because anyone can reach max even though it's capped before you reach max power, it doesn't mean it improves the damage you take running Gambit, Forge etc... It just allows you to do more damage with certain weapons, the problem I see with that though, Bungie loves to use immune as a "challenge" and I can see that flawed logic being applied more often knowing this company.

These are just my and my regular groups personal reasons for not raiding. The raids themselves are fun enough no problems there leviathan being the exception. My other issue is boss health you can literally 1 phase every boss and some don't even require you to actually do the fight that is a big problem for me at least

IMO Bungie needs to even things out. Scale the enemies with you as you level up by keep the older events relevant when you level up like EP.

There are lots of things that need to be done I can't put my finger on it but something about d2 doesn't keep me interested as long as d1 did or maybe there are just so many other good games to play my interest isn't there

An incentive is a key factor in any game. Too much grind is never a good thing because gamers spend more time grinding then actually playing the game.

Its not the grind that bothers but how the grind is handled that is boring kinda sick of milestones tbh

Yeah, we had more freedom in D1 to level up how we wanted to and use what gear we wanted to.
