The new update and road ahead looks great. But no talk or mention of trials.... For me that was an event and adrenaline not replicated by any other game.

15 Repliesall these people glad trials is gone were just people bad that they couldn't go flawless. I enjoyed trials a ton
-
Trials can burn in hell.
-
I was wondering the same thing. More than half the people who are happy it’s gone are only saying that because they’re no good at it lol. Really hoping it gets revamped and comes back but who knows.
-
37 RepliesAgreed. Them not bringing it back is a slap in the face to the D1 hardcore crucible veterans. Between this and the fact that comp will be all nade launchers for the next few months, it may be a good time to play another game for awhile.
-
I agree! I miss the hell out of trials :( Please talk about the status and future of Trials Bungie!
-
how hard is it to give us back trials of osiris? I don't know one person who preferred anything about trials of the nine to ToO.
-
I honestly can't think of any other reason they'd get rid of it besides it being too similar to competetive. If trials returns, it needs it's own image. It can't remind anyone of any thing else, it needs to be special.
-
Original d1 trials was the mother-blam!-ing shit. God damnit I miss that. There was no rush like going flawless. I dont see how they can ever bring it back to it's original version. Idk why they mess up good things while trying to fix what's broken. Like the sunsinger class. OG radiance was perfect as is - self res and fast regen abilities. Damnit bungie
-
Yeah! I was actually really upset figuring out Trials won’t come back this season. I guess I’m gonna play other games until next season then. Because, trials have always been the best and most entertaining experience for me and most of my friends. Especially in D1. It kept D1 alive until the launch of D2.. I really hope Bungie reworks it, makes it fun again. Destiny just don’t have a purpose for pvp-players without Trials. And no, comp grind and Luna isn’t enough..
-
no trials so no buying the new dlc for me -blam!- bungo
-
4 RepliesTrials is what basically made a lot of people fall in destiny including myself Plus it kept destiny alive while we had to wait 6-8 months for a new DLC do trials is important in destiny it’s part of PVP without it no point of grinding to get the best pvp weapons
-
17 RepliesAgreed crucible is the life line of this game after content dries up. Give us more pvp options including 3v3 Elim trials!
-
There’s an interview somewhere where they suggest it’s coming back, but only for the Korean version.
-
Can't believe how many people don't want trials back. I have no interest in playing it, but if all the sweaties migrated over to that, maybe the rest of us scrubs could have a shot at getting Luna's.
-
No one cares, trials was cancer, and no one like cancer
-
5 RepliesGood riddance. So many nerfs came from Trials.
-
3 RepliesI hope it never comes back in ANY FORM. No offense, but the focus on trials during content droughts KILLED it for me...much better now with things to do!
-
I recommend PvPing in another game, Destiny really sucks atm.
-
22 RepliesTrials and Faction Rallies won’t be returning for Season of the Forge. Cozmo has mentioned this in a couple different posts since the update happened today.
-
Seeing a lot of discussion about whether Trials should return or not Think of it this way: The 6 stack Not Forgotten users that are stomping blueberries in Quickplay right now would instead shift to Trials for a chance at going flawless. It should definitely return.
-
1 ReplyFvck trials!! Are they telling story/expanding the universe fast enough to keep anybody interested?
-
Nothing wrong a little pvp action but that whole flawless thing sure caused a lot of issues. Just saying.
-
7 RepliesWe need less crucible, not more.
-
They can’t even get quick play right and you want trials back?
-
The charts do the talking. They probably weren’t satisfied with the number of players that were playing the mode and probably weren’t satisfied with the mode either. So they most likely scrapped it for good for now. They probably don’t want too many modes in the game either & gambit probably took over trials spot because of that.

25 RepliesNobody cares about pvp..... pvp is cancer to destiny
