Don't Kill the Wizards in Gambit
This is a tactic I've seen some very smart teammates use in Gambit and I have to say, it really seems to being working. Don't kill the Wizards, don't use any Power Weapons, Supers or the IKELOS shotty.
Simply sit in the back of the spawn and shoot the Primeval with Auto Rifles. Slow and steady wins the race afterall.
Also, remember to let the Invader kill you any chance you get.

5 RepliesOr they melt their primeval first and the wizards kill you because you didn't kill you fast enough. They also put up suppression fields so it is wise to kill them. Killing them is good because it means you can focus down your own primeval. It ALSO means that when they invade you, you can kill them easier. So it is a good idea to put those wizards on ice. You can use a roaming super to clear them. Sure maybe not an ikelos shotty but maybe something else.

2 RepliesAlso, before summoning the primeval, be sure to shove your own team mates out of the way to collect the motes from enemies that THEY just killed. Always be a dick to everyone, even your allies.

10/10. Great advice. I was wondering what strat the scrublords dominating Gambit were using. This must be it. Honestly, the only more efficient tactic that I can think of is staying at the spawn and dancing until the round is over. Everytime I see that, I send the person a recommendation and leave the match. Clealry I'm not at that level yet. I know I'll eventually get restricted if I do it too much. Even if I send a report first, but hey... clearly bungie has thought about the Gambit penalties long and hard and wants us to learn how to play with these advanced stats and players... I'm just not ready for it. All sarcasm aside, I really wonder who the biggest morons are... the clueless blueberries who just don't get the mode... or the bungie devs and leads that created / are curating that hot garbage mess of a playlist
