Bygones, Bygones, Bygones
Lol it’s all I see in the crucible. The broadsword quest isn’t helping things. Wish there was more variety but whatever.
Edit: Again, not complaining about PRs. Just saying I wish there was more variety. Even different NAMED rifles lol. Someone said that we should just leave it be because people will just counter it somehow in time. I agree. Leave pulses alone lol, we’ll figure it out as players.

It’s the best weapon, so naturally ppl will use it in a competitive environment. Maybe not THE best, but damn is it good AND easily obtainable. There’s always one weapon that rises to the top, it’s been that way for 4+ yrs now. It shouldn’t surprise anyone.

Perhaps multiple quests involving multiple weapon types, so players aren’t pressured into using one weapon for an entire season of Crucible? [b][i]But that would be fun, heaven forbid. [/i][/b]

4 Repliesexacerbated by the fact the drifter sells a full-auto version at rank 12. Thus ensuring more and more Bygones enter the battlefield. all you have to do is grind to get there.

3 RepliesAnd here I am running a blue fusion rifle (parsec tsu) on my warlock. Thing hits like a truck and has a better charge time than just about all other high impact fusions.

It’s popular but not a fraction as polarising as g lance and vigilance in season 2. I think the primary meta is really healthy at the moment, there’s always gonna be one or 2 guns that stand out though.

the bygones/inaugural address archetype of pulse rifles are the only thing imbalanced in crucible right now in my opinion. even shotguns are fine if you ask me. but the range and impact on these weapons is pretty out of hand.

Agreed but to be fair it’s a really good pulse rifle. Even without the Redrix quest I believe people would still use it.

Bygones, Go Figure, Chattering Bone, Redrix Broadsword, Right side of wrong, Inaugural address... all great pulse rifles. Unfortunatly, Crucible is becoming a camping fest again...

1 ReplyI've been waiting for these posts to start. I got bygones the first week. Haven't stopped using it yet. Gun is a beast in PVP and PVE. The one the drifter sells isn't very good though. IMO

If you can’t beat em join em, I’ve only got one bygones to drop (slideshot, opening shot, like wtf kind roll is that) the base gun is stupid easy to use(convienent that the best hand cannon and pulse come from Bungies new game mode, coincident.... I think not) fortuney I got my Luna’s and alone as god so my bygones has been collecting dust(horrors least has taken its spot also
