Remember when you promised to make raids less about mechanics?
I’m all for having a harder raid and it’s way more fun no doubt.
Love the new raid and I have no problem.
But reality is you make it so complicated for other players that when I search for someone to fill a spot it takes forever because not only is there LESS people playing your game cause the last two DLCs but you make the raid harder so that LESS of who’s left is even capable.
That ends up in waiting 10-30 minutes to find someone to do the raid, ending in every single person you get not capable of doing any role in the first place. What I can clear with my friends for an encounter in 5-8 minutes, ends up 3-5 hours trying to find a capable person.
Don’t reply I need more friends. I have 424 followers and it’s not my fault nobody will buy this DLC cause they don’t like Bungie.
Solution: Leave first encounter as is. Increase the timer from 4 minutes to 5-6 minutes on the second encounter. Decrease the speed of Boss’s strength for 3rd encounter.
Haven’t tried past this. Thanks to said problem. ^
P.S. NOONE liked nightfall timers. Just wait for more people to do the raid....

9 RepliesHere is a question I really want to ask the community. What do you mean by mechanics? Do you mean the things that you are forced to do to bring a boss to a vulnerable state to deal damage? Or are you talking about wanting to just shoot the boss and have it fight back? Because either way there are mechanics. A boss that just sits there with a dumb look at you as you shoot them and they shoot back... that isn't a raid boss. Heck that doesn't even qualify as a boss. So here is a better thing you should be saying as a community. Do you want a more active boss as a threat? Or more puzzle element to figure out how to drop his shields?

They chased off so many raiders by designing raids around people who play Destiny for a living. If it doesn't give Datto and Gothalion a chub it likely won't be put in the game. 😐

3 RepliesYour mistake was thinking that Bungie understands the concept of keeping promises. It's just lip service to keep fans hanging on. I mean seriously... I challenge you to find me a means to talk to actual tech support. (seriously, been looking with no luck) . To me, that seems like a big red flag that says "We don't really want to hear from you". This forum is just a means to keep us on the hope train. This company has no intention of changing this pattern, it makes them too much money and is a lot cheaper and easier than actually trying.

1 ReplyCompared to VoG there's a lot less mechanics. The only room that gets me is the Vault. Everything else is pretty straight forward. WIthout mechanics, it couldn't really be considered a raid imo.

6 RepliesBro this honestly just sounds like a lot of bad complaining and not feedback, 4 minutes is plenty enough time, Morgeth's is already so slow, everyone should be able to get to dps by 30% then one phase. Everything is already easy, no need to make it easier.
