Nerf sleeper in gambit
Sleeper is extremely overpowered in gambit, either nerf it or nerf walls

I love the people that go nah it doesnt need a nerf, just git gud. Yea because i should get better at the game to counter people taking the easy no skill route. Also tell me how you counter something that insta kills you 1 second after hearing "youve been invaded", how do i react to that? I say bring on the aim assist nerf and that i cant wait to destroy trash tier players looking for any easy way out.

11 RepliesI can’t say it’s OP. I don’t even have the weapon And I’m saying that. Is it a cheap and cowardly kill...Yes I’ll give you that. People who use the sleeper have no balls. They should make it simple, if the invader chooses to work for their kills, give them an over shield. If they’re just going to camp and use the sleeper, they should get no over shield. Something to that effect. Nerfing just ruins good weapons especially in PVE. It’s very effective tool from what I hear while raiding. Everybody needs to calm down with the shouting of Nerfs left and right.

2 Repliesthat little issue not main issue in gambit , it the burns in 20 seconds on primal after invader been there issues , sleepers can hid on , it the were fireteam burns in 20 seconds , and your invaders kills them all , yet 20 seconds burn.

16 RepliesAll they need to do is just ban the -blam!-ed from the mode. Problem is then solved people actually will have to work for kills instead of just sitting in the back pointing in a general direction of someone and get a kill.

I would say that the Sleeper is only overpowering in Gambit because the invader knows exactly where his prey is at all times. At least invadees have to search for an invader to take him out. Remove the “Wall Hacks” for invaders, maybe instead grant them an enhanced motion tracker, meaning they can still hunt effectively, but they actually have to look for their targets. Sleeper Simulant is annoying to deal with period in Gambit (especially when someone has that catalyst), but nerfing the Weapon will only lead to issues further down, and Sleeper isn’t the only problematic weapon/ability in Gambit. Give invaders an enhanced motion tracker, remove the wall hacks.

snipers counter sleeper if your good, getting in the person's face with a shotgun also counters sleeper, Map awareness and knowing that you are going to get invaded can also help deal with sleeper scrubs, and lastly sleeper counters sleeper. Final piece of advice don't bunch up and have at least one person hanging back not collecting motes to deal with blockers, invaders and heavy hitters (cabal turrets, snipers, cyclops's, and exploders).

Nerf the sleeper, then tracking rockets are next, then snipers, then shotguns... nothing needs a nerf but your access to this forum. The sleeper stimulant isn't even a random drop. Anyone can get it via quest, so it's not like it's out of your reach

Bet they'll reduce the range and clip size....and make it unstable rewinding it forever in PvP because of you and others posting nerf it. But I don't blame you for this I blame Gambit.
