Merrick Garland was far more qualified and yet the Republicans blocked any sort of hearing for close to a full year because muh partisanship. Did any of you have a problem with that? 🤔🤔 Many of you also seem to be avoiding the fact that it was proven he lied under oath already.....

3 RepliesYou and those on your side are the people who are trying to turn our country back to the way it was in 50's when minorities and woman knew their place, LGBT people were unheard of, and anyone who wasn't a Christian didn't matter. Considering this, it seems a little hypocritical to say Dems are the ones without a soul. W regard to Kavanaugh hearing pretty much all the Republicans have said Ford was credible, which basically means truthful. So if she was telling the truth what does that say about Kavanaugh. You may be fine w potentially having someone who is accussed committing crimes like this on the Supreme Court, and think it doesn't matter bc he is on side you agree with, but it undermines our entire Judiciary. If the Dems had this info and sat on it, that was wrong, but it is a completely separate issue from whether this actually occurred. Further, the Republicans raise questions about their handling of the hearing by refusing to call/subpoena Mark Judge. How can you have a hearing without a named party to the complaint. A Senate committee has the power to issue subpoenas just like a court, but Chair of committee refused to so. This in itself is highly suspicious and goes against every procedural/evidentiary rule for a hearing like this. Neither side is blameless regarding hearing procedure, but that is a separate issue from whether Kavanaugh did these things. Frankly, his unhinged tirade more than anything makes me think he lacks the temperament to sit on our highest court.

But we shouldn't resort to civil war just because of their immoral actions with Kavanaugh's reputation. Wait till they do something more radical like impose limited speech laws or try to ban or restrict guns further. I feel like the issue with guns is most likely to lead to civil war.

This entire process has been another national joke. Both sides . I don’t like Kavanaugh personally , however bringing this man through a fkn ringer for something he may or may not have done at a drunken party when he was 16 in high school is just sad. Using this to try and block a nomination is really bs whether you like his politics or not . Fords emotional crying and saying oh I was so scared he was going to -blam!- me. Oh common . Give me a -blam!-ing break that was as scripted as the WWF right there. I don’t get how some of these asshats in the senate still have their seats.
