So you are saying the game mode then must require a mic and fireteam to play. No solo cue? If it was set up like Trials I would very much agree with you. But Its not. Fireteams are not required thus it leaves randoms at such a disadvantage I hurt the entire concept of the game mode and bungie business model for the game.
I will agree that if instead of n**fing the gun they make the game mode a fireteam entry only it would seem fair as It forces a level of balance to the game. But Bungie has stated that the game mode is intended for all... so they will more than likely be forced to address the direct issue of the Sleeper itself... Which, like you i'd assume, is not want I'd want.
Either way, to state that the Sleeper does not create an issue at all is sheer ignorance. If however you would agree to no longer having clear markers over peoples heads instead of a n**f to the sleeper I would gladly accept this change to the game modes Invasion mechanics. Where the Invader must actively hunt and find his prey in order to truly prove his dominance and earn his kills.

The game mode, and literally every game mode outside of patrol, is built to be played as a fireteam. Yes, you can solo and ignore those you are matched with, but the game is built around the fireteam. Because of that, fireteams will always-ALWAYS-have the advantage, though that never gaurantees them victory.
