Tired of all the constant bashing and complaints
Say something nice about destiny,
all the constant complaining is getting childish and borderline shameful let's see if the community is capable of praising the huge amount if good in the game

D1 > D2.

Well to be fair people expected a lot of improvements over D1. They had plenty to learn from, but D2 has been a constant 2 steps forward, 1 step back (or just 1 step back in some places). Overall it has felt like ‘lazy’ development. Crucible is atrocious. Although I’m a bad player, I actually had fun here and there in D1 crucible. Not in D2 though. I will say Whisper of the worm was very cool. Bit harder than I would like as I just play for fun and to relax, but I got the gun, catalyst and ship. The feel of the mission was excellent. I got the first mission done in two goes, but for those that couldn’t, the ridiculous RNG to get back in was overkill.

The original Bungie that made d1 had it going on, the new people in charge, not so much.

I'm sure everyone is just as tired of having this subpar game to complain about. Saying "one nice thing" about it makes no difference, it's in the devs ball park, so far having us wait a year for changes we needed at launch isn't a great start

5 RepliesDestiny 2 has altered my consumer mind set. I approach game purchases with pessimism now. Without the shady practices of Bungie I probably would have bought into hype and wasted money on many other titles. Thanks Destiny 2 for conditioning me for the future of gaming.

On your topic I can name the following positives: 1 - Music. The one beautiful thing about Destiny 1 and 2 is the music they have produced. I listen to it from time to time (not in-game too busy in the game mindset) and its just spectacular to hear it music. 2- Art and design. Backdrops, the landscape have all been really well done and sometimes I wish those places I could actually visit. The vision of their artists is pretty awesome. Vault of Glass is the most obvious stand out here. 3- The Lore they have written in both games (albeit sometimes confusing) is really interesting and gets you in wanting to know more. Even with some of its lore being cryptic. 4 NPC characters. To me the various NPCs are relatable in many ways. We can hate or like them at our leisure yet to me they have to much story and richness in their background that makes them much more filled out 5 - I actually enjoy multiplayer games more than ever because of it. I used to avoid these type of games because I didn't know anyone that played them, plus it was nerve-wrecking to try and talk to randoms in a party in a game! lol. Now I run a 98 member clan and I never thought I'd be in charge of something like it. haha

10 RepliesSome of it is mindless whining yes but then there is criticism that is actually valid Its called feedback so that when expansions (like forsaken ) come out they can funnel all of that into it and make something amazing, hell part of the reason TTK was so good is because THEY LISTENED TO FEEDBACK Look at how confident the seem in the recent streams and interviews as compared to others in the past year, ever since they started taking feedback in march they have been looking a lot happier with their work and from what they have shown us ALL the systems are refined, Random rolls are back with and this time ALL MODS are worth having. with some of the best mods from d1 coming back for vengeance (Range finder on HC) Even Eververse is getting a serious overhaul which is wonderful, YOU CAN NOW EARN BRIGHT DUST THROUGH BOUNTIES ?! yes please And let us not forget the new mold breaking game type: Gambit i can already tell this will be a blast for all players especially if you all have a diverse skill set

2 RepliesThere's a difference between constructive criticism and complaining about something you don't have the ability to complete. Instead of saying "PvP is a toxic piece of trash" and leaving it at that, say "I have some ideas that could make PvP more enjoyable".

I love Destiny....D2 now thats a whole other thing but in a couple of weeks we will know for sure.
