I haven't done it yet, simply because I am horriable with snipers. But do you?

I’m burned out of D2, too much to where i couldn’t bring myself to play, but it looked fun

1 ReplyOne of the best things ever added to the Destiny games, absolutely loved it. Absolutely HATED the fact you needed a specific PE to start it. Waiting for 4 hours for three events just to help some clan mates is beyond stupid
-
The only part I didn’t like was the bugged event AND ending it earlier than expected. Waiting for 12 hours of no spawns just to see that the event closes a full day before reset is kinda annoying, I’ll get it next week but aside from that I loved the experience

5 RepliesYes, but mostly no. Loved the concept of an exotic attached to a secret quest. I have always believed that every exotic should be attached to a quest, something that can be easily done since they all come with its own lore. Other than that, i hated the way it was implemented. The waiting game for the public event. The damn jumping puzzles. Turning the mission into -blam!-ing time trial(because it was such a success on nightfalls). Timegating the heroic version along with the event which also timegated the progress of the catalyst. TLDR; Good idea, poor implementation. That is just my opinion though. I know that the popular opinion is way different than mine. It is what it is.

3 RepliesHow could you not? Unless you’re just bad

8 RepliesEdited by UNDEAD10000: 7/24/2018 4:03:32 PMI won't even try to do Whisper of the worm exotic quest because i'm terrible on both speedrunning and jumping puzzles. Yes, yes, i know that i'm the worst player in Destiny 2, so no need to say that i'm just bad in Destiny 2.

it was ok the heroic catalyst time gating is kind of aids tho id rather just grind it out and get it over in a few hours instead of waiting weeks for no good reason
-
3 RepliesCan’t answer this question due to a bugged event in which I spent 12 hours in game to never get a taken public event. Hopefully Bungie has that issue fixed for this weekend.
-
The actual quest was great..... the absoulte horseshit of having to wait for a specific public event in a specific place (which was “bugged” for 8 hours Saturday) is absolutely terrible and the worst idea. Especially since I’d you failed, you’re waiting again for god knows how long. Once discovered, it should’ve been selectable. Then again if that were the case Bungle couldn’t pad playtime for their next investor meeting.

7 RepliesI voted no simply because I want to shoot things, not play Mario. I think bungie has overused the jump puzzle mechanic.
-
1 ReplyI'm not hyped lol like all of the streamers but I want it and will get it, so that's a good thing.
-
its very cool need more stuff like this, except the time gated bullshit. Have it available all the time. We should be able to modify it like nightfalls not wait for the right week.
-
Loved it, every part of it including the wait, felt like the great times during D1.
-
Went through the encounter five times before beating it. I enjoyed it each time.
-
2 RepliesI’m only 364 but made it to boss. Never beat it but fun AF great time playing it.
-
This this sniper will make you better?
-
Dont have it yet but still liked it

12 RepliesAfter practicing the jumping puzzle, we got to the boss room and I got yelled at for using my super on the wrong boss so. That wasn't fun but the mission is kinda cool. I'm gonna finish it when I'm higher light idc

I did maybe 4 or 5 runs. I jumped in solo the first one because I had just heard about it and wanted to see what was there, without any guides or help. I managed to make it halfway through the first jumping part and got stuck at the blind jump where you swing around the corner where you crouch on a ledge and try not to get pushed off. Second time I went through solo again and made it to the area where you make your way across the spheres and swirling holes on the right-hand side, but ran out of time because I didn't know which one to go in. Then I teamed up with 2 clanmmates and we made it to the final bosses twice. We didn't get another chance because the next evening the Public Event was bugged. Overall, it got us all energized and I was excited to have the chance. I'm looking forward to doing it again the next time now that I have more tips to go on.

Never got the opportunity to try. 😕 Cabal events for an hour and a half before giving up.
-
The actual mission was good. The hours standing around on io holding my dick only to yell..... cabal again. Not so good.
-
The heroic was 100x better, and it was only because of the lack of having to wait an hour between attempts.
-
The quest itself is awesome. Tying it to a public event that may not pop for hours is beyond stupid. But that's bungie for you, always 1 step forward, 2 steps back.

5 RepliesThe quest it awesome! Just what D2 needed... the problem is the Public Event. Since it's only going to be a weekend event they should turn off the Cabal event and only have Blights when the quest is active. I really don't think that's asking too much.

4 RepliesEdited by CannyJack: 7/24/2018 3:32:05 PMWe are way too easily pleased if we're calling this a "quest." But anyway, I haven't done it, but it looks about as fun as the one from Destiny 1. Which is to say, one of those things you just do, but don't particularly enjoy. I hate timed missions in all games, all the time, so that's an extra strike against it. Which is to say, I will absolutely get this gun. But I don't expect to have a good time doing so.
