The worst day in D1 is still better then trhe best day in D2

It's amazing playing D1 crucible again. Think of all the things we had in D1 - nobody asked the these crappy changes. Bungie IS CLUELESS. Bro the pussified community cried whenever they died; Thorn, TLW, Arc blade, Vex Mythoclast, SUROS, final round snipers, snipers, Thorn, matador/felwinters shotguns, blink, Thorn, sticky grenades, Thorn, Thorn and anything else that killed them. The community got exactly what it asked for. The COMMUNITY asking for everything to be nerfed is the real problem.

    • D1 crucible was chaotic and unbalanced but it was fun, d2 crucible is just boring. D2 has too much heavy and grenades don't do enough damage to really matter. 4v4 sucks and the maps feel a lot smaller. This is my opinion, feel free to comment yours

    • I agree. D1 was so much better in all respects but at least Bungie see's the error of their way and is slowly working their way back. For all the D2 cruciable fan boys of 4x4. If the new PVP is so great then why is it among the lowest played games in all of Destiny history. Even trials is at the lowest point and player participation of its history. People like to engage other players and have fun. The chaos is what made it fun and the larger maps of D1 made for some very strategic play even in 6x6 gameplay. 4x4 was done for only one reason and that was to lower the chance of a bad connection by limiting player count. It didn't work.

    • I wish more people played D1 pvp. I have to wait a few minutes to find a game and most of the time they lobby isn't full and I see the same people over and over. But I rather play that then d2 at the moment

      • AMEN! In all honesty, I don't feel the same love I had with D1 in D2... D1 Crucible is way better in my opinion tho (for now :p ) But some people did ask for these changes and it really messes it up for everyone else. I feel like Bungie is more confused and lowkey frustrated at the fact of this bipolar community XD

      • When Bungie has a Doubles week, I go back to D1's Crucible because it lets me play PvP the way I want to: with a loadout that it took me years to figure out, and only took one disastrous nerf to destroy in most game modes. With four players in the game and multiple special boxes, your special weapon is at least mostly reliable. With six or more, you might have to fight with your primary alone, suicidal with a heavy scout.

      • I don't think they can fix D2. I really don't. So much of the core game feels off to me. I wish they had a team working on D1. D1 had its ups and downs mostly caused by they throttling RNG and progress (which they constantly are fighting to get right). Sure they can make the quality of life changes to D2 and there are some interesting exotics that mostly still need to be buffed, but the core game is off and doesn't feel right.

        • No, just no. I played D1 since beta and it had all sorts of problems. It finally got most of them fixed towards the end, but it was not all great the whole time. Worst Day of D1. You could reroll perks on Iron Banner weapons. People spent hours or weeks worth of grinding to get motes of light to reroll weapons to the their preferred perks. The specifically removed final round from the sniper and the range perk from the shotgun after people spent (potentially) weeks grinding to get their loadout. They didn't even nerf them, they REMOVED them. Huge disrespect of peoples time.

          • Not clueless. Just out of touch. Some people DID ask for the changes. Those people just didn't speak for the majority, and Bungie listened to them, because that minority was telling them what they wanted to hear: That we wanted to play an updated version of Halo.
It's amazing playing D1 crucible again. Think of all the things we had in D1 - nobody asked the these crappy changes. Bungie IS CLUELESS.
No, get your ass off the bandwagon seat D1 fanboy. Destiny 1 Crucible was garbage. It's too chaotic and skill didn't matter since everyone ran around with shotguns and fusion rifles. Destiny 2 brought the traditional, golden experience of PVP. Actual gunplay, higher TTK, and a focus on teamwork. Feels a lot like Halo in that way. If you prefer D1 Crucible to D2 then you just hate having to actually have skill to be good at something and prefer mayhem & chaos, period. And if you're that type of player, your opinion on PVP games and what PVP should be is -blam!-ing worthless. That being said, D2 crucible isn"t PERFECT but it's definitely a step in the right direction.

              • I cant find verification for this, but the word is that Bungie got upset because we found a way to 9-man Escalation Protocol and nobody tries to 3-man it, so they dialed the RNG on catalysts all the way down. If this is true, then it sucks.

              • D1 PvP was ruined on purpose before D2 dropped...for obvious reasons. And it was still better than D2 Vanilla. :D

              • if you have an Xbox 360 or PS3 try playing crucible on Destiny there. they are still in year 2 and special ammo is a thing still. It's so fun. Year 2 Destiny felt fun, not as fun as year 1, but more fun than year 3 Don't even mention the -blam!-ing waste of space that is Destiny 2.

                  • Every strike from D1 is more fun that D2. Archon priest was actually fun. The strikes in D2 are just a grind. As far as the game the most fun I ever had playing Destiny was the open beta. The BUNGLE looked at all the things we did in the beta, and nerfed those things. The fundamental problem here is the very soul of Bungie. They were great when they made Marathon, great when they made the first Halo, and they have lost their soul and spirit, little by little ever since. Bungie firing Martin O'Donnell is a perfect example. He was fighting to protect what destiny was about and they threw their friend under the bus for it. Rather than try to fix the game BUNGLE hires clowns like deej to try and control spin on their cobbled together farce of a game. Bungie is jaded and doesn’t respect their players, nor have they any loyalty to their friends. I was so excited for the release of D1, talked about how wonderful it would be endlessly. What we got showed Bungie’s true colors and indeed, how far they had fallen.

                      • D1 Crucible was not nearly as good as people make it out to be. It was nothing but ability spam backed up by 3 tap hand cannons or sidearms. I don't have a problem with players that like D1 Crucible over D2. But don't make it out to be the best time in Destiny. D2 Crucible after the Go-Fast Update is the sweet spot for me.
