Don't get me wrong the content looks good I could understand the 40 bucks for Forsaken but another 30 just for the annual pass. SHADY AS HELL

17 RepliesTo those who ask “what’s so shady about the $30?” Do you know what you’re getting?
-
Bungie is selling the DLC at $70 to make up for the difference due to them KNOWING a lot of people won’t buy/pre-order.
-
16 RepliesForgot it, I will get spyro remake and red dead 2
-
It’s past shady and well into greasy.
-
1 ReplyI got the season pass when the game first came out, but never downloaded any of the dlcs that were released (haven’t played since November). So my season pass won’t cover Forsaken?? If that’s the case, I think I will replay god of war.
-
Yup that heavily scripted, edited and cinematic trailer sure "looked good" I wonder if they'll ever show some actual gameplay content before the product releases! Show us the fantastic tokens and blues people earn from doing all this shit.
-
I'm gonna wait until the end of Destiny 2 to get everything on sale for like, $20. That way I can spend money on a full-game. Granted, there won't be much players left (as if there are now) but still. I can enjoy it on PC since Bungie ain't gonna port D1 to PC.
-
Yep, I ain’t buying it.
-
1 ReplyPLUS you have to buy Osiris and Warmind to even PLAY Forsaken...

Edited by FlippyMyster: 6/6/2018 12:55:11 AMI agree. In my opinion, the game needs to EARN the right to have that sort of a price tag. With all the problems the game has had recently, with bugs and stuff, without ANY compensation, I think for most of us, it is hard to have the price tag justified. Plus, the 3 expansions you get in the annual pass, as bungie stated, are not focusing on cinematics and story, but game events mainly. DEFINITELY not worth $70.

$115 in Australia 😱
-
I might just buy the new dlc and wait to get the seasonal pass.
-
Then just spend the -blam!-ing 40, and get over it.
-
Don’t buy it then, or wait, The annual pass is like getting a season pass for your expansion.

Those new supers and stuff look awesome...but do you know when would've been the perfect time to add new supers to the series? With the release of a new game. How can they add this stuff a year after release and charge for it when the only new supers they added between 1 and 2 were ones that just replaced the old ones that people already loved?
-
22 Replies40 for one expansiom 30 for 3 expansions
-
Lol DLC looks amazing
-
27 Replies$70 when games are usually $60 at their launch. You spent $10 more, are you really upset about that?
-
12 Repliescomplaining about 70$ for a big ttk style expansion, and 3 CoO,WM style expansions...
-
2 RepliesThe other $30 is actually for 3 more dlcs. So it’s pretty fair. We are actually paying less for the three dlcs than what we paid for CoO and warmind. So in actuality... just buy forsaken. And then wait to see if you want the other three dlcs.
-
Why is that shady? It sounds like the idea is that they're going to do Annual Passes instead of the usual December/May $20 DLCs. I'm not seeing how this is some fresh outrage.
-
Sounds like a good deal.
-
Already preorder 2

Edited by Combat Mind: 6/6/2018 12:52:24 AMShady? No. But honestly, I probably will buy the Pass if I can (And Warmind, since I don’t have it), however if you total everything up in US dollars, it comes to a grand total of 170 bucks to keep playing this game, besides the costs to pay for Xbox Live/PS Plus (Unless you play on PC), and the people who had spend 100 bucks on the collectors edition. For the first time, I’m actually hesitant about spending that much on Destiny. It’s starting to get really expensive to keep playing this game.

Edited by GamerDecoder01: 6/6/2018 12:48:36 AMSo on top of everything we get with Forsaken, the annual pass includes three content drops. Each are including a "endgame challenge", new weapons, armor, and vanity rewards, new and returning exotics, new pinnacle activities (based off the symbol they use for this, stuff like the nascent Dawn quest, and the other planetary quests), new triump records, and new lore. Edit: note that they DO say that there is a story to each one, but will be told less through cinematics and more through the gameplay.

I'm preordering the base forsaken dlc, not bothering withe the annual pass
