Please Stop Celebrating The Return of Old Weapons
The vault is gone.... We paid for a new game. I'd love to see new weapons. My first exotic in D2 was hard light. Extremely disappointing given the fact it was a new game.

I like what is coming back and I will celebrate the return of Destiny 1 exotics if I bloody well want to, whether you like it or not. The last time I checked I do not need your God damned permission, let alone your acceptance. Now dry your eyes buttercup, because there is nothing that you can do or say about the return of these exotics that is going to change the situation. Sure you can decide to not play the game, that is your decision to make, or you can just accept it and give the DLC a go. But as far as I am concerned I will not lose any sleep over it.

2 RepliesIt's not surprising that more old exotics are coming back, they've been trickling them back in since the game launched. I expected it so it's not a big deal to me. I'm still waiting for the Chaperone.

For the love of god please give 25-50k players (if there is that many of us real players left) early access to D3 so we can beta test it and help you make a real game. Your first real game since halo. This is absolutely embarrassing of you guys. Seriously give us stages of D3 to beta for you and help make it a whole game one that will actually keep people playing!! For months we have been giving you all feed back and you are to damn lazy and don’t care to even put in 20% effort into making changes needed.

8 RepliesThe return of old everything. However, that is what half this forum is asking for. I want new places, guns and experiences. I want the franchise to start turning the potential into reality. I am just one voice. The overwhelming majority of the posts on this forum are "put back ______". So they are putting back _____. The expectation that this game was going to somehow be 1000 hours of play on first release was mostly ridiculous, it took the first game 4 DLC releases and 3 years to become what it was. Through that cycle there was kinks but the requests from the community were as a whole less counterproductive as there was not comparison. There is only one thing I wan't back from the original; Fun. That is the thing everyone on this forum wants but few are asking for. Many are equating longer grinds as a reason to play. I personally cant see how adding monotony to a mostly monotonous experience is going to fix anything. I suppose the minority of players, those addicted to imaginary items and the Idea of 100% completion, those currently screaming about not being special enough for their overwhelming time commitment will be satiated by longer grinds. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the longer grinds, I think there should be reasons to play. But the last couple patches have been for those still playing. The people not playing are now the ones who need to be focused upon. The only way to get them playing is to put FUN back into the game. I am not going to play a NF 86 times to get a pistol. I will play NF 86 times if it is fun to do so, I'll love the pistol as an additional reward. I hope the new expansion is fun. I hope that as they add content, fun is at the core not placing band aids over healed scars. I also hope, If it is fun, for my warlock to have something to wear that isn't a night gown or a motorcycle helmet with half a frisbee on it.

Yeah they shouldn't have told us the vaults were destroyed in the first place. By the time this run of the destiny cycle is over we will have all exotics from D1. It shows how lackluster the creative team is.
