I'll not one of those people who troll the fourms gloating about how I don't play d2 anymore. I don't play and I hate that I don't play. So if you don't play but you hate the fact that you don't play this game, what one thing could bungie do to bring you back....
Note: ONE THING ONLY!!!
Edit: So it looks like random rolls and the primary/secondary/ heavy system is what the major of people want. Just in case you are listening Bungie.

I still play but... A truly unique and extremely rare exotic akin to the original gjallerhorn (can drop from any exotic source). This would require the isochronal xur engram to explicitly exclude this item of course to make it rare. As much moaning as there was around the g-horn, it did keep people grinding anything and everything that gave a chance at exotics. And the reaction to getting one drop was amazing. Nothing since even comes close. A secret mission exotic similar to the spindle would be my number 2 vote.

1 ReplySomething to do outside of public events and strikes. A grind.. any type of grind. Kill x amount of enemies, collect x amount of materials for weapon sets, leader boards to track stuff... anything really other than the current meta.

If they started making expansions for D1, I'd pay for that.

There is only one thing that would make me come back. I'll come back, when that Crota woman comes back.

I totally agree with your statement. I don't play D2 and I hate that I don't. The one thing that I would like to see D2 do is TO GO BACK TO LORE. In my analysis, the decision making to dumb-down, or uncomplicate Destiny 2 for the benefit of the casual player had the predictable result of affecting the game, the story, and by extension, the player experience. For example, one can state that the Lore: Grimoire Cards (GC), Dead Ghosts (DG), Calcified Fragments (CF), Siva Fragment (SF) etc... worked as a unifying matrix between the story, the purpose, and the missions quest(s). The fact that the GC, DG, and CF were collectibles and you had to unlock them by finding them served as a roadmap for guardians to work to a more fulfilling experience. Sometimes you would go to specific strikes because that's where the collectibles were. You had to find them in dark areas, in hidden rooms, in jumping puzzles = IT WAS FUN trying to collect them. Even Bungie.net was more practical then than it is now. We could look up our GC progress and YouTube where they were located. The fact the Lore was an integral part of the Bungie App and Website made me look up the site more often and it was because Lore was INTEGRAL to Destiny structure. It was fun looking at your cards to find out which weapon CG I hadn't collected. Now, another question to ask is : Why do we come to Bungie.net? We can't even look at our inventory and change our gear. What is the practical purpose of Bungie.net after signing up? Lore it up, and see what happens. Is there a better example than the quest for the exotic rifle "No time to Explain"? We had to go to a particular Paradox mission, then you had to know to divert from the mission and hunt for lost dead ghosts instead going through a series of jumping obstacles without dying. That was just to activate the quest. Without the DG lore, how do we find out about the quest without looking it up in our Bungie.net app to check which dead ghosts we hadn't collected? In the end, Lore was like a manual on how to develop the story, mission, quests, and challenges. Now in D2 that we defeated the Cabal, if you didn't know about the fallen, why are they there? the Taken have so much potential, and we only know this because of the Lore. Is Orix Sister going to comeback? Well look up the GC and you can start a plot from there. Lore is like cannon, and when the Lore was downgraded to scannables that you have no way of collecting and revisiting without having your guarding travel there, then Bungie lost their compass. They should bring back the original Bungie team who loved the details and get rid of what seem to be pretenders to the Destiny Universe who idolize the Golden Calf that is Tess Everis. Seriously hate that I don't play Destiny anymore. I have though, played D1 more than D2 this year. Best Regards, D
