Just seems like a few background changes that don't change the major fundamental flaws.

Are special weapons back where they belong? If the answer is no, you won't see me buying any expansions.
-
Yes.. I'm definitely going to give them an honest effort.
-
Hell no, I mean all my friends and clan members sold Destiny 2 so.....
-
Hahahahhahahah,......no At this point i feel it will never become half what we experienced in year 3 D1, unless they seperate pvp and pve it wont work and D2 proves that. The PVE crowd want a fun fast paced game where they feel more powerfull after every upgrade. The PVP crowd do not want any of this, they want zero op weapons, Armor, and supers, and a balanced game where skill will win the fight. This is a balance that will never work unless the two are seperated, so untill that happends theyre getting zero dollars from me.

Just seems like a few background changes that don't change the major fundamental flaws.
The new updates won't be what brings me back. I, as with most of my clan, will only come back because I've already paid for DLC2: I will only be coming back to play the content I've already paid for. Once I've played through it though, I don't expect to stick around much unless they make some serious, core, structural changes to the game's direction and design philosophy. If there is one thing I have learned over these last few years, it's that I can't trust Bungie's words. They'll say they 'fixed' something, and I'm sure in their opinion they did fix it. But their definition of "fixed" all too often seems to be different than the players' definition. Remember the 'buff' to auto rifles in D1 that turned out to be something like just 0.2%? Their definition of a buff was clearly different than ours. Promises of changes, descriptions of them... that won't restore my faith because they've proven too many times that they don't understand what players want. Or worse, they don't care. Bungie's efforts are only worth evaluating after they've actually be implemented, so I'll wait until the changes actually hit, then see what the people I trust are saying about them.
-
Probably not but maybe about 10 similar updates may do the trick. We'll see as Bungie is still very conservative with the changes.

Edited by D-Von, Kell of Tables: 2/2/2018 2:29:33 AMNot too much to the fundamental issues but they are on the right track. Now they have to implement all this stuff with 0 issues or throttling and i can already see the super energy recharge being a 10 second difference. Sad

No D2 doesn't need small tweaks... it needs a major overhaul.
-
I’ll still play cus I don’t want to spend money on another game and when I’m bored but the game will still suck.
-
When they UNNERF time to kill (PvP & PvE). ability cool downs, random rolls (weapons and armour), melee damage, orbs of light, subclass customisation, primary/special AND heavy..... Maybe For me these weren't the things that made D1 awesome, they're what made my character feel powerful. And to take that away made D2 (at it's basics)........ Boring
-
No, not yet. I'll hold out until they fix more stuff. So far they're still chasing their own tails, and it's not really enough to bring me back. So you fixed some stuff that should never have been broken/missing in the first place. Yay. Now fix the rest.

All these sheep that are licking their herder, Bungie, by the balls can never understand how shit the state of the game currently is. Instead they wake up everyday telling themselves, "It'll get better" when in reality it's getting worse. Have fun choking on what you call "fun".
Insert hate comments here. I won't read them to give you the dissatisfaction knowing that your words are wind. Have fun circle jerking your metaphorical dicks.
Edited by REDVK: 2/2/2018 12:13:36 AMNope, I just stick around the forums to feed on the tears of disappointment of fan boys and the spit of hater venom. Bungie is dEAd to me
-
Nope, it's a step in the right direction but theres still so much needed for the game to even be classed as average.
-
Ya I still play right now.
-
I haven't stopped, still on daily. 😊
-
XD not even close
-
Yes for crimson days (Because it’s an event and why not) and again after the sandbox changes. I feel like the sandbox changes will make crucible fun again. Especially with faster movement and faster super recharge.
-
1 ReplyHell no...I’m done with this bullshit. I just come here, to the forums, to see Bungie having to beg us to start playing again. We begged them for months to give us some respect and now, shoes on the other foot.
-
Yes they will
-
5 RepliesNot really. I’m ready for a different game. The longer I don’t play...the less I feel that I’ll be drawn back in. As it is, I don’t even understand all this Masterworks stuff. It sounds pointless and a complicated attempt to make armor and weapons have more variety....but I really don’t feel encouraged to grind for a 3% buff.
-
Well from where it stands right now, no.
-
I probably will, if I can. Movement was one main of the reasons I stopped playing and it seems they’re fixing it.
-
Maybe. After a few updates, people will dip their toe in, see if it's any different. The waiting on seasons for sandbox fixes though, it's their own worst enemy and driving people away.

3 RepliesOh ya but problem is. My game keeps uninstalling itself giving me the error code "This game Sucks".
