Just seems like a few background changes that don't change the major fundamental flaws.

Will they -blam!-
-
3 RepliesNever left. But I reckon the changes are headed in the right direction. So I’m happy overall. Just wish they would come a little faster.
-
If it draws my friends and clan mates to play again, then yes.
-
played in October, played in November, Played in December, What ya know, i played in January as well. I don't nit pick the shit out of games because i know not every game will have what i want. I see games for their good qualities and deal with the bad. Ubisoft games seem more like yalls type of games.
-
There not updates, they already exist. Bungie just didn't have time to implement them because they were too busy rebooting the game and fukking it up. Now we just get drip fed in the hope it keeps people playing.
-
already back so yes
-
Watching Bungie pull this out of the fire leaving you with just a sh1tty stick and nothing to stir is going to be icing on the cake.
-
No. All these promised changes are far to vague. How are the weapons gonna be buffed? How are movement speed, super etc. be buffed? As usual bungie holds back facts (in numbers). Is it all gonna be buffed by 0.4% or what?
-
Haven't played since November and didn't buy the DLC. D2 simply wasn't for me so I moved on. All the changes I see coming are all either PVP orientated or do not address the fact that the core problem for me was static weapon and armour rolls, skill tree changes, etc. Its a simple consumer choice. Bungie had a product I liked, they released a mark 2 of that product but changed almost everything for me that made the original great so I stopped using that product. I may come back, but only on my terms.

12 RepliesNo. Lore is dead. Content is to hard to create so the game is dumbed down. The chase for random rolls is not coming back. 30fps in 2018 is unexceptable. No dedicated servers in 2018 is unexceptable. A game revolving around TESS is unexceptable. Luke Smith and other leads not being demoted is unexceptable. That b1tch that is now lead writer is unexceptable. A f'ing comic instead of content is unexceptable. I'd rather play lawbreakers with the two other people than ever touching this mismanaged ip. Luke Smith stating the he felt the strangers story was well told and finish...

Mh: world
-
Nope.
-
Nope !!!!!
-
Another impotent attempt. We are working on D3 so we can get 3 preorders and have 20 people player base with dedicated servers
-
We’ll see... every little change helps.
-
No. Destiny 2 just isn't my kinda game. Loved D1 and still play it. Had major doubts at beta and was done within a month or two of play. Not even wasting money on DLCs for this game.
-
I will minimally play the new dlc, then they better have something amazing in September or I think I'm done.
-
When we have a game like Monster Hunter world u want me to do what again ?
-
From the look of it the changes will brings me back... sometime late 2019, nothing before that point gives me hope.
-
It’s just the same Bungie loop as always. “We don’t like how you play the game, so we are changing it. Now you have to choose between rockets, snipers, shotguns, and fusion rifles in a single slot.” “We don’t like that everyone only uses rockets cause they are the only thing that makes sense for high DPS, so we are looking to change it. Soon we will work out a new slot system for weapons.” Take that formula, apply it to any piece of content.
-
Hell no 😀
-
Honestly I never left. I just play it far less.
-
Do you even play the game anyway? Have you ever played the game/series?
-
Edited by Jared: 2/2/2018 2:41:05 AMI'm still playing, so I don't feel like this post is entirely directed at me, but i felt like I would give my answer if I weren't playing at the time. I would probably get on at the time of the update, just to fiddle around with the new movement tweaks, check up on streamers like Cruelty or Sweatcicle and see if any new cool movement abilities came through, and if nothing impressed me, I would get off and go about my business. So it would be a definite "maybe"
-
Possibly. The movement was a big killer for me. Warlock glide going back to norma is good. If the weapon loadout changed back to the way it should be id definitely come back. But for now i just dont know
-
Are special weapons back where they belong? If the answer is no, you won't see me buying any expansions.
