Always fun to sneak up behind enemy snipers and punch them to.....oh wait....wait are we talking about Destiny 2? Wait did they finally introduce snipers in the Curse of Osiris DLC or something? Have I been gone that long?

3 RepliesFunny thing about snipers, if someone thought they were good in pvp with D1 snipers but you can't get kills with D2 snipers, means you can't snipe.

If they were in the energy slot I'd use them all the time. I'll never use a sniper over a sword or rocket. Generally no one ever will. This was by far the worst decision bungie made about D2. I remember a promo video with the weapons guy before D2 came out. He said he didn't really have much of a reason for the switch but it was something he liked. The guys with him admitted they didn't like it at first but they "got used to it." I understand PvP balancing is hard but not at the cost of the entire game, PvE and PvP combined. I also understand it would take a major coding change to switch back. If they just announced they were doing it but it won't be ready until the next dlc or after I'd be okay with waiting.

Yes by me. I think the thing wrong with them is they are in the powerslot, they could use a bit more impact especially the low impact ones. Not in crucible, they are fine in crucible as far as damage goes. Please rework darci. Its exotic perk literally does nothing.

JOverated uses them a lot when he streams trials. Personally, I've only been killed by a sniper once (he bodied me) and have only seen a small handful of people using them. Bungie have literally killed any skill in their pvp.

I really enjoy running "the long walk" or is it "a long walk"? Its the trials sniper... Pretty easy to quick scope with but nothing like back in d1 days 😂😂

Yes I have and I have used them in pvp They work.. just not my preffered style. In PvE they are pointless at the moment.

I was playing Quick play and there was a guy on my team with a PVP master work sniper. The kill counter said he had fifty kills with it which surprised the hell out of me as I never see anyone sniping in D2 PVP. God but I miss sniping like I used too in D1.
