5 RepliesViper tends to be a little troll sometimes. And I can agree with that. But he honestly just tries to point out how bungie is messing up. He's trying to open up the eyes of those walking in the dark, blinded by this company. So you can try your best to argue and resort to name calling and drop down to low levels. You may defend this money hungry shady company. And that's completely fine. But I'll be here. Defending a member of the same community we're all in. Bungie is full of lies. And unless they're exploited and fought against, nothing will change.

All of the things you gather will be with you the whole way.” [spoiler]not the exact words, i know, but something very close was said at (or in the build up to) launch[/spoiler] They added that it would be really cool to tell players that joined later how you got all these bad ass items. I stopped playing D1 as soon as they announced that this was another broken promise. It was one of the reasons I was playing so mutch and wanted to get everything. This promise was also one of the reasons i really didn’t understand the limited vault space. Still pisses me off btw.

1 ReplyMy favorite one is the lie about intention for Eververse. Its the best by far because of the their Eververse progression designer job offer they took down. The lie + job description combo is even better than the Battlefront "pride and accomplishment" post.

I’d put Eververse on top of the list. Maybe only rivaled by Deej stating that D2 is much better than D1. Or maybe that we have to leave D1 and legacy behind because without it content and updates will come out at a quicker pace. Sooooo.... Three way tie 🤷🏻♂️

Tess wasn’t meant to hold endgame loot. Motherthucka do I look stoppid. Does you think I fell off a turnip wagon? Seriously though, ghosts and sparrows didn’t put themselves in that loot pool.

Wow! Gotta love all the responses in here. Shows you just how much they've lied to us about so many things. I would add one but i think you guys got most of it covered. The one that pissed me off most was the whole ten year thing, and how this would be a persistent universe, that your loot would always be there. That drove me on to play through some of the darkest patches of d1. Really got to me when they changed that up. I liked the idea that we'd get to year ten and i'd be able to whip out my felwinters lie, and all the noobs would be like 'whats that hes murdering us with?' 'You had to be there boys, you had to be there.' There you go thats my addition, i specifically remember deej telling us we would be able to say that to people about gear we had earnt. Now i get to tell them you'll have to buy d1 and i'll show you what a real vault looks like.
