1st way why people play hunter[spoiler]to beat people in foot races[/spoiler]

1. Quickfang (I like the one handed sword running) 2. Nightstalker (My favorite subclass) 3. Aesthetic (Like their armor) 4. I’m not a try hard at all. If anything I would say I’m a casual. I really don’t know why you tried to talk shit and stereotype Hunters. If anything we already have enough shit to deal with people calling nerf calls on the Gemini Jester, invisibility (yeah, I’ve seen some posts about this!) and Nightstalker.1

I play all 3 classes. Warlock main. What I like in the hunter is mobility.

Hunters are the least tryhard class. That title belongs to the 2 pulse grenades spamming cowards hiding behind their walls that panic super every time they start losing a gunfight. And if they have no super they run to their friends to "insert gay reference here"

Reason I play Hunter closet thing in this game to a Rogue character I usually go for in RPGs MMOs I always avoid tanks n magic men lol

I actually play hunter to rely more on my gun skill than abilities unlike shinobus cancer. I run 10 mobility and two kinetic counterbalance mods btw I still manage to keep a 3 resilience and recovery. I'm aware mobility doesn't increase sprint speed but I like strafing. No point in resilience and recovery if the enemy can't land their shots

For anyone that wants to have fun in crucible as a hunter (not mayhem) here are some fun steps. 1 get your mobility to 10. 2 equip stompies 3 run nightstalker or arcstrider (personal preference, I use NS) 4 pick the skill tree that increases sprint speed and increased height jump 5 equip the mida combo (not because meta, because increased speed 6 pull out mini 7 jump 8 become new space program and hit turn back barriers by getting so high 9 sprint at the speed of sound Optionally equip all blue shader’d armor to make it slightly harder to spot you jumping

3 RepliesThere is no difference in run speed, except when Strikers are in super. Then they actually outrun every other class. There is a reason that people don’t really run the Arcstrider super.....because it cannot fn catch anyone running from it. Wonder why that is.....

Spending my game time playing ad control is boring for me. I play Gunslinger. 3) I have the most fun when I'm quick, agile, and lethally accurate with my golden gun and hand cannons.
