Curse of Osiris is short and disappointing
Curse of Osiris is short and disappointing. It takes about 2 hours to complete all content. This is not an expansion. This is bullshit.
It is literally 5 story missions and 3 adventures. 2 hours max content. When the 'raid lair' comes they said that will be roughly 45 minutes.
Whole "expansion" < 3 hours.

**And to the people saying I haven't played it or I have no characters on my profile. You're clearly blind. Also play on 2 platforms. PC Primarily. PS4 was just for launch.

3 RepliesI’m very disappointed, but in reality, I expected this. The dlc has no character, is incredibly short and small, and did not introduce any game changers in the weapon category (except for lens of course). Though I’m sad, it is true that Bungie has not had sufficient time to change this dlc in a way that reflects the community. They have announced ways that they are taking the game in the right direction, but many of these aren’t until January. If the Rasputin dlc is this bland, I will probably not purchase the following dlcs, because Bungie will have shown that even with sufficient time to reflect, they cannot produce meaningful and engaging content. [ also, what’s with the bugs? I had to restart my game twice because of enemies spawning in walls within areas that you have to clear to progress, and once because my final boss cutscene froze and my game crashed. I now have to complete it again on another character to see how it ends. ] [spoiler]i literally ran the entire dlc while having same ol conversations with a friend in the party. Hardly any WOW moments and no need to stop and concentrate on something difficult. Talked about chick fil a during the boss fight. Sad.[/spoiler]

I didn't buy the DLC after that abortion they sold us in September. I had hoped the comments and reviews would compel me to jump back in. Sadly, it seems nothing has improved and there is no reason to waste my time on this product.

there is no way you do all this in < 3 hours unless you are bum rushing the shit out of it. I finished the story (which is 7 missions btw) and haven't done adventures yet and it took me 3 and I rushed it. I think they still have room to improve the value proposition, but compared to other $20 destiny dlc (house of wolves and the dark below) this is a SIGNIFICANT improvement.

Whether I ate it in 10 minutes or over an hour, it still was worth my time, money, and experience. You could spend $20 on a book. If you read it in an hour, and I read it in six, did I get a better value? Or is it a personal perspective that becuase you could do it in an hour it was not worth it? Trying to place value to the cost of something like a game, or movie, or sporting event, is fruitless. You are trying to put a price on time instead of an experience. Someone could pay $500 for a boxing game and the knock out happens in the first 5 seconds. Was that worth it? Depends on who you are. Just remember that in Bungie & Activisions disclaimers they say that you are "paying for the use of their program" and they've made no promise of quality, content amount, gaming time, etc...

5 Replieshow about weapons armor etc. that stuff is nice. oh and by the way 17.50 is all it costs. if you take your friend to MCDONALDS the meals would total more than that. you are arguing over lunch at mcdonalds. is the expansion worth more than that? hell have you SEEN the detail in the expansion? the artwork is GORGEOUS!
