We are Frustrated because we LOVE Destiny.
We LOVE destiny. There is no skipping around that fact.
We are a passionate playerbase that only wants the best for this game and for bungie as a company.
Destiny 1 opened doors that i never even knew existed in a video game genre...but Destiny 2 slammed many of those doors shut again.
Destiny has so much potential, its a mile wide but only an inch deep.
We aren't angry with any of the developers personally, we are just frustrated because we know Destiny 2 could be so much more than what it is currently.
Just know Bungie that all of this noise coming in your direction comes from our desire to delve deep into your game...[u][i]you just have to let us[/i].[/u]

4 RepliesI think the main reason why I’ve stuck with destiny for so long and will continue to remain somewhat loyal is not because I’m a fangirl (even though yeah I pretty much am) but it’s because I know its potential and how great it can be and everything new that’s brought in can only spark ideas from myself and the rest of the community that would make it better. If we can all promote each other’s ideas, bolster them with slight improvements if necessary and maybe just maybe [i]some[/i] of our ideas may be implemented and that I think would be amazing.

Destiny is TRUMP! Trump is DESTINY! I've been trying to figure out this community. You have the Destiny fans that are screaming that the game is not what it should be, or could be, what was promissed, Bungie/Activision lied to us, etc... You have the others that are telling the "whiners" and "complainers" to shut it, and it's fine and if there's problems, "which we are not saying there is," Activision/Bungie willtake care of it, eventually, some day, and we are fine with that. They know best. Then a third group that says, yes there's issues, let's see what can be done to fix them. I realized this is the situation in America! Replace Destiny with TRUMP, and add either "Russia" or "Unfit" or any other of the topics related to Trump, and there it is. That made me realize the type of mentality the "complainers" are dealing with! The type of mentality the "bungie can do no wrong" types really are.

THIS. It’s heartbreaking that D2 is flat and stale. How could they royally mess up after all the improvements they made in D1? I try not to think of all the mistakes they made starting with the story of the Traveler. So elementary.

Why on earth they took so much away; and not add anything new such as new enemies to fight just boggles my mind. I’m still amazed that I have no desire to to play.

5 RepliesPerhaps if you stop comparing the two then you wont have this issue. Destiny 2 is not Destiny 1 - They are two different games. Play the game for what it is now for what Destiny 1 was.

I've seen some comments at the Devs that's are just ridiculous, you think they want to release a game that's bad or no one enjoys, they know it's not perfect and are working on it, these things take time. Constructive feedback will always gain more traction than hundreds of nonsense posts.

I put up with lots since the beta of d1, the only thing that really got my feathers ruffled was the use sbmm in pvp, really the only thing i have been outspoken about. I really don't think this company is capable of making good decisions anymore after this launch. D2 has been a complete disaster. I wont come back to this game unless an overhaul of some kind takes place. It would likely require a new build or a return to D1 or sorts. I will not buy dlc for D2, i do not believe this game can be fixed.

12 RepliesBring back random weapon rolls. Bring back secondary weapons. Increase the recharge rate of abilities and supers. Bring back strike specific gear. Create unique, planet specific gear that can only be obtained from lost sectors during flash points to make these worthwhile to do. Remove the nightfall timers. Make raid gear worthwhile. Make the raid worthwhile. Allow ships/shaders/sparrows to be earned from Srikes/raids/crucible again. Vendors should sell the legendary gear as well as earning packages again. Remove planetary material/planetary chest cool downs. More exotic quests. Fix the vault organization (what happened to kiosks? Those were great) Mass delete shaders. Allow us to choose the game mode we want to play in pvp. Competitive pvp should remain 4v4, but make the casual pvp 6v6 again. Remove level scaling. Flashpoints feel no different than normal patrol. Really ramp up the public events, add in my idea for lost sectors, and increase the amount of patrol missions for the week. Feel free to add anything i missed.

I agree largely with what you're saying. I loved Destiny and I'm enjoying D2 but Bungie never seem to want to put in the work to make it truly great. It needs constant updates - new quests, new patrols, new strikes, new events, new planets to keep it fresh. Otherwise it just gets stale doing the same stuff over and over. Bungie promised us the stars but never deliver.

This is a nice idea, and some of the suggestions might actually improve things. Most of the suggestions, however, are made specifically to turn D2 into a OHK grief-fest. Which is bad for everyone.

1 ReplyVery true; Gamers are always passionate. Giving criticism is great, there’s just a mature way to do it. I’m interested to see what changes Bungie will bring as well as what the community will say. Yeah it’s become the bandwagon trend now to bash as much as you can, with very little coherent thought, but there is still a lot of well written feedback which Bungie can use to change their game.

Over half of the Destiny community has left for other games. My fav Twitcher's don't touch Destiny 2 anymore. I have the solution! Please bring back SRL. It worked for you in Destiny 1, over and over again. Look at the Data!!!

2 RepliesDuh. Just agreeing with u. We can be critical as hell now. We helped build the game for 3 yrs with feedback and a lot of discussion. Some good some bad. Now its antisocial dev team hides in closets all day. I would be embarrased as a company havimg luke smith's arrogrance and finished product. Go and make a Halo sequel at 343 luke.
