Petition to remove loot cooldowns
Its not needed, not wanted, and has no place in a Looter Shooter

Edit 2: Can people that are saying "They need to be fired" or "They should kill themselves" please STOP!!? This is just one small F*ck up. NOBODY deserves to be burned at the stake for something like THIS. All they need to do is fix it and move on until another problem/bug shows itself. We have to think on these things before we start yelling "Crucify him!"

Id like to see the loot cool down gone. One solution could be fewer crates more glimmer to keep the balance. I do like how the balance is now with the amount of glimmer you receiver because in d1 i was a glimmer swimmer. And the currency was pointless. So the fact it actually has somewhat of a value now is better....all that being said i hate when cool down kicks in....usually around my 3rd cayde chest..

Bump. I usually grab the Cayde 6 stashes and opening one and not getting anything because I grabbed one 5 mins ago is so irritating, especially when I'm trying to get the emblems.

This should never even be a thing in any game where one of the main reasons for playing is to try to get more loot! Whose idea was that anyway?

Know point sending fire messages to bungie . They have lifes too . The only thing we can do is write down on what we want to see in the game to make it better . What I like to see in destiny 2. Clan rewards need changing to where the fire team only get the rewards but the clan gets xp boost. Gear and weapons need to have different rolls as the same as destiny 1 . I like to see destiny 2 with a clan building where we can build to make us work as a team . Maybe build are own weapons and gear with clan logo on . Strike gear and weapons . Wants the bounty Hunter back . Wants daily story back at your level like in d1. Timer on night fall option . Public events on the old tower . One weapon I like to see back tracking on rockets . Yes the Gjallarhorn .put a smile on your face when your team says rockets . Better solar systems map where you see your planet's . E.g. warframe planet system like that . New model with flesh on or a holagam Want to the stranger lady back . Like to get mission off Amanda holiday . Flight mission simulator in the hanger. Theses our only idea bungie. Clan building I think in racking up with xp in the clan unlocks logos to go on weapons and gear and shaders your clan has chosen . Plus having a clan building I think it would be good to able to research weapons and gear rolls . By having bounties you have to get theses completed with your clan to research rolls to go on gear and weapons . I think they should only let you change one roll on any gear ones a week put only once on the price of gear .

I just found out about this today. Had no friends on to farm some public events with, so I figured I'd buy the scouting map for edz and grab some treasures while doing public events solo. Found 5 chests on my way to my first event, 5th one had no loot so I looked it up. This seems like a pretty silly mechanic to have in this game. I honestly do not see what the point is for being there. Is it to stop people from gearing up too fast? Clearly not since within 1 week of pc release some people are already 305 power level with the mechanic in game. Is it to prevent burnout and cause players to take breaks? If so, it is having the opposite effect on me. If I am forced to stop playing the game how I want to for a period of time in order to get more rewards, then that will deter me from continuing to play the game more than having too much to do.

I've gotten nothing but a single token from chests after finding only a couple. Even only get a single token from killing high value targets. Why should I even bother with such events if my drops are severely gimped? While I do agree that nobody needs burned at the stake I'd consider this more than a small -blam!- up considering it's a game that revolves around obtaining loot.

Devs have received death threats for modifying a bullet drop in Call of Duty. This is the toxicity of the community that keeps people away from forums like these.
