Bungie, you broke Mr. Fruit
Meh.
That’s the title of his latest D2 video.
Mr. Fruit, the Destiny youtuber known for being positive was finally broken by D2. He goes on to say that he was trying to do a video on the Origin Story auto rifle but fell into how bored he is with D2 already and is simply waiting for the DLC to judge if D2 is even worth it.
Never would I think Fruit would descend into this D2 is bad funk.
So yeah I guess you can throw “we broke Mr. Fruit” under your belt now too Bungie. When does the damage control start?

If it’s any consolation, I’m still having fun. Between playing siege, destiny2, For Honor, and overwatch, I’m progressing steadily in each. I’m not power leveling I did for awhile when D2 came out, but I’m slowing it down now. Maybe I’ll play some ark too! It’s easier to play many games and have fun in each of them with your friends than staying up late boringly grinding to 305.

I havent watched his video but dont think i have to. Less than two months in and no reason to play. Too casual. Nothing to grind for, flawless and prestige mode raid rewards are lame. Have every gun in the game and new ones will just be reskins. Love destiny, hope they fix it

77 RepliesWho cares? You know why streamers really are mad? Because they can no longer milk the daily Destiny cash cow. There isn't enough "stuff" to talk about daily to get views/clicks/ad revenue. Their criticism isn't based upon the gameplay for the average gamer, their criticism is based upon how they can't personally make money.

I miss the days when it took "no skill" to go and kill 3 or 4 people. Its tough getting used to the whole group and shoot mentality, I know everyone say it takes "skills" to zone in and follow your team around until you see the enemy then each strafe back and forth behind corners, I just cant get used to it.

8 RepliesFirstly god Rick kakis can suck it. Secondly I don't watch mr.fruit so I guess it doesn't really bother me. Thirdly I've been playing d2 since launch and I'm not bored with it. The game has major flaws that need to be addressed but I'm still playing it.

Man that video was awful. When you do a weapon review you shouldn't use that weapon 100% of the time. All weapons in Destiny have a place, and all weapons have weaknesses. If you are going to use the origin story at any range no matter what of course you are going to get worked. It is not because people are using the MIDA or Last Hope, it is because you are challenged those weapons at ranges with a weapon that you shouldn't be challenged them with.... Also his approaches were terrible.

People who go around saying -blam!- you for criticism, really need to grow up, this game isn't good, if the way game's state is in doesn't tell you, then look at the popular consensus, 7-8/10 people say this game isn't fun like the first on. So guess what fanboys, Bungie -blam!-ed up, and they will know when their player count plummets to under 100k. If Mr. Fruit says there's a problem in his videos, which from my knowledge doesn't like to share his opinions of games in his videos, not to mention he loved the first one, and grinded the hell out of D2 when it released, he only adds on to my point. Fruit's not the only youtuber that has this opinion, most that I've seen have stated that there's a problem, so all in all, there's a problem and Bungie doesn't know how to fix it anymore.

You know...i do feel for Mr.Fruit, he is one of the few YouTubers that actually cares about the community and the game, not so much as ad revenue. He has always been a member of the community and always saw the best in the game. He was one of the better youtubers to watch if you were just starting out....he showed that the community can be kind, have warm heart, fun, and helpful. Bungie...if you can see this, it not that we don't like the game...we love your game...its just that there are a lot of things that worry us and get repetitive. We don't want to tell you how to make your game, or how to balance it. We are all just passionate about this game.
