Wow, Bungie's stock plummeted 29% since last week, sales declined by yet another 47%, players online dipped to under 1 million, game stores are discounting the game by as much as 20% and even offering $10 gift cards on top of the discount, and game stores/sites report record cancellations for a pc game. The fat lady has sung!
Thanks to destinySUXbigdk for this info.

5 RepliesI stopped playing 6 days ago. I'm still not ready to give up yet. I'm in standby mode right now. I want to see if the game is going to be improved to the point where I will want to go back. Here's hoping.

4 RepliesIt’s close to earning the title of most canceled ever pc pre order game.

2 RepliesI loved d1 and d2 had a much tastier story line... That being said the game needs more content, even if its just a light level bump, i understand pc was just released so maybe that explains the hold up but most of us are sick of the raid simply because there is nothing valuable left to gain. I want to return to d2 but i dont want to pay for dlc to do so if im just going to cap out immediately. Give us a better spread bungie please.

2 RepliesMan I just read the "new this week" thing for destiny 2 and the longest part of it was the errors they already know the pc version is releasing with. If that's not an indicator of how shitty this company is I dunno what is. I stopped the day prestige raid came out with no actual rewards (especially if you're colourblind like myself) waste of 90$

Yeah this game sucks!

These posts are so... god awful around #Destiny 2. They get tons of upvotes, but if such poor posts were made in #Offtopic or #Gaming they'd get none at all.
-
I’m done....until new content comes out ....like most players As much as you all hate the game now, you’ll be back if there’s a new raid.

I when back to warframe it will take lot to get back to d2 I love grind

Bah I just noticed Road Rage has made a comeback after 20-odd years. Due to be released this month.

2 RepliesI just got this game about a week ago and I already lost all desire to continue playing. I really wanted to enjoy this game, but I just can't. I put in thousands of hours into the first game and it really saddens me that Bungie dropped the ball on this one.
-
1 ReplyI got my single character to level 305 this past week. I'll probably do this weeks milestones and then move on to wolftensten. In context I didn't play TTK or ROI much longer than I did D2. D1 (and all the y1 dlc's) were insanely addictive due to the RNG system, and having to level up gear. They fixed that stuff, and as we got deeper into y2/y3, those grinds were reduced. There were obviously things in y2/y3 that worked better than D2 (vault, movement, weapon perks, kiosks etc..), but as a game to play, D2 held my interest as long as the last 2 expansions of D1. I guess that's not bad for a DLC but a little underwhelming for a new title.

I stopped playing a short while ago and i played longer than most. I'll get back to it during the faction rally and maybe iron banner.

Bungie isn't a publicly traded company. If you're referring to Activision, their stock is definitely not down 29% either. These types of things discredit your post instantly.

1 ReplyDestiny 2 took away my space magic so I moved to (re-)play as a mage in Skyrim for PS4 (and actually enjoy it).

I try not to be negative, but I am just about done. I am a solo player since most all of my IRL friends passed on D2 (they say they don't want to have to pay over a hundred bucks and wait 3 years for the game to feel whole), and I have no urge to play with random people. The whole, "play your way" bullshit doesn't apply anymore, anything worth doing requires a group and even then the rewards are mostly cosmetic. I am just out of motivation to log in. I have nothing but bad luck queuing in MP as a solo, how anyone thought removing rumble was a good idea I'll never know. I had planned to pick up the DLC, but if I do I'll just be feeding into the endless cycle of rewarding mediocrity. Sigh...

I wouldn't say I've quit playing Destiny as much as I've just stopped playing because I've gotten bored of the game. I'll be back for a few days whenever they add something new though.

https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/236428029/0/0 Here are my thoughts on what Bungie could do to make the game better!
-
For sure. I wouldn't mind coming back for The Dawning and DLC to see if Bungie fixed things but as of right now, it's a broken promise from Bungie and hopefully this is a complete wake up call for them. I am done as of right now.

2 RepliesThink of all the other games you could’ve played while you were gathering all of those statistics about Destiny 2!
For me, it’s been Horizon Zero Dawn. Got to finish the main game before Frozen Wilds comes out!
Edited by MrKnackebrod: 10/23/2017 5:55:23 PMBungie's stock are not public, right? Activision's stock was around 64 when the game released and it's around 61,50 now. Not that much of a difference. However, this article I come across when searching for "Bungie stock" is rather interesting http://screenrant.com/destiny-2-bungie-stock-loss/
