Now it is happening again. Peoples are calling for nerf because they can't win in Trials. I'm not a Trials player but absolutely don't want to see guns nerfed . I really don't want to see a Destiny 2 in the same state as D1. Please don't do it, Bungie.
-
Well they didn't nerf it this week. I hope they don't I love this gun not just in PVP but in PVE I love it as well. If anything they will nerf it in the next 4 weeks
-
4 RepliesIf worst comes to worst and Bungie does bring the nerf hammer, hopefully its only the Mida and not all Scout rifles. I do recall once hearing bungie say when they "fix" guns in the game it will be the gun itself and not the entire class of guns.
-
2 RepliesTo be honest it's bungies fault. They should have kept the mida in year 1. The gun was already overused in D1 trials and now 6 out of 8 players at least in each game are using one. So now the gun will get nerfed. As it should at this point.
-
Can we nerf trials instead?

Edited by geemanzee: 9/20/2017 12:36:32 PMDon't need to nerf need to buff other options I don't use it but I love how people in crucible use it like it will grant them easy kills, I melt all of them In D1 if I was lucky I could go positive but in D2 every game I'm always positive, just push past Mida sweet spot and mow them down
-
3 RepliesIt shouldnt have come to D2 anyway, sooo either nerf or remove it entirely with all d1 exotics, please and thanks
-
1 ReplyUriel's gift has been outgunning mida from what I've seen
-
D2 weapons are in a worse state than D1.
-
2 RepliesMIDA isnt the problem. The problem is that everything that isn't MIDA is garbage thanks to no more random perks and every weapon class having the same stats. If pulses were good, MIDA wouldnt be as big of a problem. Not to metion how fast the time to kill is in D2 compared to D1...
-
The Mida is my all time favorite scout and I'm stoked that it returned in D2. The reason why I love this weapon is because of its speed bonuses and handling, I prefer to be as quick and nimble as possible in pvp. Now with the amount of time I've racked up playing with the Mida, I'd say the ONLY thing that could use a little tweaking on it is it's aim assist. HCRs really isn't the problem, as most people like to think, it's the high AA that borderlines on ridiculous. But keep in mind that this is an exotic and it's going to have enhanced properties that will set it apart from legendarys. Just look at how devastating Coldheart is in pvp as a prime example of crazy strong. The Mida is just a good gun in comparison. I really don't want to see Bungie go nerf crazy on D2 like they did in 1, but small tweaks should be made and made to the items that are under performing and over performing. Just small tweaks.

2 RepliesMida has always been so weird IMO. The stats show it in line with most good scout rifles. But when I am killed by it from across the map, I am like, "WTF was that?" because for some reason it seems that you get hit will all the rounds at once. No other scout does that. I have felt this way since D1 btw. Not sure why. Something with the code? IDK.
-
If someone kills me with Mida or any other weapon, then the problem is me, I wasn't good enough. Don't blame weapons, blame skill! I love Mida, anyway...

Haven't played D2 yet but in D1 I hated how Mida became the entire meta. It doesn't need a nerf, other weapons need buffs.
-
Should have never brought back the Mida Multi Tool; it was annoying in D1 and now it's annoying in D2 for pvp. Never wanted to see the gun again. Just personal opinion
-
They already took D1 and nerfed everything and now we have D2 crucible
-
It needs to be. They made the mistake of adding the one perk that made the gun too strong in the first place. It's like they thought we wouldn't fucking notice intrinsic high cals, like we're a bunch of idiots. They didn't need to remove hair trigger. Just high cals. Hell, I'd have preferred they keep hair trigger. Makes the gun special.
-
7 RepliesMIDA is not even that good man , it just has a secret perk that shoots around corners 🤷🏻♂️ ..no big deal ... I'm totally kidding , MIDA is fine. The only reason you see it so much is cause it's a lot easier to get than say Nameless Midnight, which is right on par with that annoying sounding asshole of a gun MIDA is
-
765 and tone patrol are great options. No one uses it because other exotics are underwhelming. So why not use MIDA in your Kinectic slot and balance that with a Submachine or Side Arm for CQ engagement. It's not perfect however it's preferred. I bet if Suros Regime, NLB, Hawkawesome, TLW or Thorn was available no one would pick up MIDA as their Kinetic. Besides, Eternity is a sniping lane type map. Why wouldn't you use a scout rifle? Furthermore, if everyone in TotN is using MIDA, wouldn't that suggest to you that there isn't enough variety to reconsider another type for that map? Linearity in PvP will be the end of sanity. Don't expect everyone to be around to stay. With no RNG rolls, there will not be variety. The combat experience will be all too similar and stale throughout PvP. Just look at the loadouts for the first week of Trails. Everyone is thinking the same. How boring will that be?
-
I don't think it needs to be nerfed, but my god is it annoying playing against full fire teams of Midas. Every.single.match. For as much as bungie has preached variety in D2, there is absolutely zero.
-
Its not the gun its the perks. High caliber rounds is what needs to be nerfed. Its what makes the uriels gift amazing
-
1 ReplyIf the Mida gets nerfed, I wonder what the excuse for getting outplayed will be next.
-
That's my pve gun. If you can't win in pvp go play a different game. I won't set foot in trials.
-
That would be stupid
-
2 RepliesIt's happening cause it's being over used deal with it
