Now it is happening again. Peoples are calling for nerf because they can't win in Trials. I'm not a Trials player but absolutely don't want to see guns nerfed . I really don't want to see a Destiny 2 in the same state as D1. Please don't do it, Bungie.

145 RepliesOnce again, the mida isn't the issue. It's team shooting. We tried to warn y'all back in the beta. It's an old build they said, it will be different in the final game they said, don't judge a beta they said. Well here we are with the final game, slow AF time to kill, team shot oriented game, and of course people are going to bitch about the best team shooting weapon in the game. TEAM SHOOTING isn't fun, it doesn't require skill, all it requires is having a number advantage over your opponent. You see two people, run the -blam!- away and challenge them with 3. That's all crucible and trials is currently. Everyone holding each other's pockets with no where to go. Hell I have yet to have a supremacy game go to score limit, it ALWAYS goes to the time limit bc of the way this game plays. As soon as you go out to get a crest, your gonna get shot from 4 different ways. If they nerf the mida, the next best team shot weapon will rise to take its place, then the next one after that, then the one after that. BUFF the other weapons in the game, reduce the flinch handcannons have, remove ghost bullets etc. BUFF damage across the board so that an individual player has a chance in a 2v1. Team shooting existed in destiny 1, but as an individual player you had enough power to fight through it. That is what is missing in destiny 2, individual power has been reduced so much that team shooting is the most reliable way to play the game. TLDR- mida isn't the problem, it's literally everything else in this game.

Nobody likes battling the MIDA, but everyone is gonna be mega mad when their precious auto rifles are next on the chopping block, js.

5 RepliesWrong. I went 7-0 first day Trials came out. You want to know the twist? I don't even have MIDA. I used Antiope-D, and Tone Patrol. MIDA isn't necessary. Its a crutch for bad players. Most scouts can outplay MIDA. Want to know something else? I still don't have MIDA and i'm perfectly content with crucible. Why? Because I know how to play the game and it isn't my fault if I get out BR'd by some scrub using MIDA. Its my fault because I made a stupid mistake or tried to challenge at a wrong time. There's at least 5 other scouts that are on par, if not better, than MIDA. TLDR; you don't need MIDA. Get -blam!-ing better at the game you pigeons.

3 RepliesThey should make it only one particular exotic in the match per team. Only one person can use mida, only 1 hard light and so forth.
-
If they didn't bring MIDA back, there wouldn't have been a problem...
-
3 RepliesWell, Mida has been OP since D1 drop. Nothing has done anything to it and now it has High Calibre Rounds again. Like I've been saying for a while... Remove ADS Movement Speed Reduce Aim Assist by half Increase Base Zoom by 1.5x Now it's a Scout Rifle that majorly increases Movement Speed and has insane Handling, not a god gun that is the best in class at every instance.

2 RepliesEdited by Heatcanonbolt: 9/21/2017 12:15:28 PMMIDA was used in 98% of the matches, people have good reasons to call for nerf. But I don't think it should be nerfed because then it will be like D1
-
I can't see why people want the MIDA to be nerfed. I've ran into it several times and the people wielding it weren't really any more or less of a threat than anyone else.
-
Just remember what happened to Vex Mythoclast in D1 and not everyone had that gun. It's gonna happen .
-
False. Frontier justice beats Mida.
-
HCR is the issue Notice how the two best guns in the game (Mida and Ureils) both have HCR?
-
1 ReplyWho would have guessed a scout is gonna be good on a long range map?
-
I don't think they should nerf the MIDA. I think they should buff other guns.
-
MIDA isn't broken. It's just showing the flaws in the high ttk that everyone loves to circle jerk over. A fast rof scout that hits hard and fast from a distance. I can't believe hardly anyone saw this coming lol. I'm glad there's something like this in the abysmal Crucible 2.0. Maybe they'll actually buff some stuff and give us some more fun in this bland, hand holding experience. But they'll probably just nerf MIDA lol. Good thing I have Overwatch.

3 RepliesEasy fix..no exotics in trials

Edited by アーヴィング☆: 9/21/2017 6:57:40 AMIf they made it not shoot through walls it'd be nice. I use mida too sometimes the bullets literally curv around walls due to the high aim assist. Edit: Honestly it's not MIDA that's the problem I've won gun fights against mida using other guns it's people in good team coordination team shotting. I'm not an idiot if I see 2-3 people I won't challenge them because I know my chances are low they're already aiming down towards me. It's just idiots who run out get team shotted and complain that the gun is over powered. Never challenge more then one person. Maybe you you could get 1 but the other person will kill you. It's just the matter of knowing how to flank when to flank and when to not challenge or just run. If people had common sense and good team work trials would be a breeze.

Being team shot by 4 midas is the problem not the gun itself
-
Everyone is bitching about a gun everyone can get.. i got it in 20 minutes from the bounty.
-
Well that gun should have stayed in destiny 1. It is such a crutch for ANY player in pvp for d2. All u see is miss and uriels gift. It honestly makes pvp horrible.
-
This could all be solved by providing PvP set weapons and leaving the PvE weapons out of it.
-
Mida is good but other scout rifles work well also. PVP improved a lot this game.
-
MIDA might get nerfed? GOOD RIDDANCE. Maybe then everyone will stop spamming it to death in pvp
-
I don't get it..is it the gun or just coordinated players? I mean I see mods alot but I assumed that was word of mouth and people saying mida was the best thing since sliced bread. But Mida was never spectacular in destiny 1 so I can't imagine it was altered that much in d2
-
I'm not on the nerf train or anything but the fact that all you see in every match is mida is just horrible. If they made the quest harder or longer, we wouldn't be seeing it so much. Even just a minor nerf could change the whole match. That would be for the best so history doesn't repeat itself.
-
Did people think the constant gun rebalancing was just going to go away with a new game? It's a small change from a development perspective that gives artificial life to the game. Auto rifles get nerfed and everyone runs out to get the beast mode pulse rifle. Fusion rifles get nerfed and everyone runs out to get a shotgun. This keeps happening basically making a new crucible environment all the while working towards the next set of nerfs/buffs.

3 RepliesI mean, during trials...when 3-4 people are using MIDA almost every time...
its for a -blam!-ing reason
