I don't think anyone, even people who knew what the symbol meant, would actually be able to see the 2 k's 4 lines and the 1/I at each side as offensive. I feel like someone out there accused bungie of being hateful for 2 letters, 4 lines, and the I/1 If you look at it more closely, even if you saw it read "kek" wouldn't it technically be IKEKI or some dumb garbage like that? No one really knew about it, and no one said boo to them about removing it. Bungie drew attention to it for no obvious reason, and only now does anyone know wtf they were on about.

What I dislike is that it still shows the old one in the menu and the new one out of the menu. So trying to add a shader isn't easy. I don't like the changed design since I wanted simple gauntlets that didn't have shoulder pieces or anything but nope they changed that. Like just remove the symbol don't change the whole piece just because a few people cried about it.

Honestly, I don't care that much about the removal of the design. I do think it's kind of unnecessary, as I didn't even make the connection until it was pointed out. Do I have an opinion on the whole thing? Yes, I think it's hilarious.

As a company in our modern-day America, you can't even for a moment appear racist or discriminatory. One side or the other will crucify you for it. Bungie has little choice but to speak out and remove the armor. If not, someone [b]will [/b]be major offended (since offending is so easy), it will be plastered all over the news, and Bungie would take the heat for it.
