Stickies, ice breaker and sidearms.
D2 PVP was a way better experience.
Joined one game in progress on D1 PVP and got super killed 5 times in a row, 5 storm callers spamming abilities.
8 games of clash gave me 19 (yes 19 ) primary kills and we won most of them.
Roll on D2.
Edit: Game mode Clash not mayhem clash.

I'm ready to see all the new guns and perks. The exotic gunplay was pretty dam good.
-
7 RepliesIt's a beta. There's no meta. Yet. Btw, fusions are super amazing.
-
The issue I had with the Beta was that the lack of abilities and the reliance on primaries made it seem more like COD or any Generic shooter than Destiny 1. Some consider that a step up, I don't. Hopefully they will add a lot of the uniqueness of Destiny 1 into Destiny 2. Otherwise you can just call it The Division or maybe even "ME Andromeda" where everything is a bullet sponge.

3 RepliesI like D1 better. Yes, the HCs are OP and yes the sticky grenades are stupid. But, the pace of the action is so much better. I like the fast pace and nimbleness of my guardian as opposed to the slogfest in D2.
-
Did you count each kill, or is that stat tracked for individual games somewhere?
-
3 RepliesYou are all so petty arguing with each other. Arguing over which turd you love the most (D1 PVP vs. D2 PVP). D1 red bars vs. a D2 FPS that is like any other FPS without space magic. Instead of Bungie actually FIXING the PVP they are laughing thinking "let them argue over which turd tastes better to them" Petty, petty, children.

Yes and no. I have played a fair bit of both over the last week. In D1 pvp the weapons feel strong and the movement feels faster and more fluid but I can't stand the ability spam. D2 pvp by comparison feels slow with weak weapons but I feel abilities and supers are in a good place. Pros and cons to both.
-
I love all the bickering going on. I feel both are pretty good depending on your choice of gameplay.. I enjoyed D2 pvp once I was able to get used to the movement and weapons, I was able to hold my own rather well and did not often need the team fire unless I ran into the full team, then I just booked it away. It felt alot like D1 pvp just with weapons and a pleasurable lack of ability spamming. I went back to D1 pvp yesterday and my first match in skrimish... I came up against a stacked team of stormcallers.. grenades and camping ensured until they had there supers within three minutes of the game, and it just went to shit from there. They had to have had nine supers among the three of them.. It was so cringey.

D1 PvP (pali/luna; ice/side) is still more fun. Not saying that one is better or worst... But for me personally and even hating D1 current "meta" if I have more fun...is better for me. You can come with all your arguments, but i speak for myself. Each one with their own opinion. Mine is simple: (D1 PvP) > (D2 PvP)
-
Agreed. lol I got too used to people actually using their weapons!
-
19 RepliesAverage 3 kills a game.. No wonder yer on here crying.. D2 pvp is shit. Slow and has, wait for it........ 2 primary weapons Thats the shit right there. 2 -blam!-ing primary weapons
-
d2's pvp is a joke!
-
D1 PvP in its current state is better than that D2 beta. The PvE aspect of D2 was pretty dope! PvP...not so much.
-
Edited by blade329: 7/26/2017 10:16:06 PMHah. I felt the complete opposite. D1 PvP was way more interesting and fun. The only thing D2 PvP has going for it is........it takes more gun skill. Wow, talk about underwhelming. Actually it's not even that, because team shooting doesn't take any skill.
-
5 RepliesLol D1 pvp is superior, except for all that lag of course, which is gonna haunt D2 as well.
-
Joined one game in progress on D1 PVP and got super killed 5 times in a row, 5 storm callers spamming abilities.
It's called Mayhem Clash.
-
I respectfully disagree with you. Special weapons aside ( ice breaker ) it felt so so good. Speed, big plays, movement.
-
It'll be good for a week or two and then twitchers and YouTubers will show you all the new annual uniform.
-
It is definitely painful to go back to D1 and be reminded that they took the fun out for D2.
-
2 RepliesI have to admit that I appreciate what Bungie is trying to do in the Crucible. Making it more teamwork based and less "Haha! I got a super so time for my free multi-kill!". Sure that doesn't happen every match but it is often enough I don't like it. That probably doesn't matter too much though. I'm certain words of hate and dislike are soaring towards me this very moment. *Whoosh*

13 RepliesWhy people complain about supers and stickies? This game revolves around SPACEMAGIK. You get tired of that, go play battlefield or cod. Those games are mostly all pew pew pew. But, can't fix stupid I guess...
-
9 RepliesD2... Right let's begin, my best game was 42 kills and I got my super twice! Yes twice in one game. My grenades which were ⚡ were OK. I don't like the fact it turns into a lighthouse first to warn everyone it's about to shock their ass. My worst game was playing against full fire teams, running around in 2s team shooting me to death. The shoulder charge actually done more damage to me after impact and then they finish me off with a finger flick to the left ear lobe.. D2 needs to get rid of the double primary weapons which are absolutely pointless.. I never used my kinetic weapons as they're shite. So bungus Fungus needs to totally redo the whole weapon systems and the 4x4 crap or am not paying for it. Basically it's slower and more team orientated which as a solo player does not appeal to me in the slightest.. FUNGUS BUNGUS IT'S OVER TO YOU
-
3 RepliesD2 has the worst PvP in modern gaming.
-
23 RepliesEdited by PR4X1S: 7/26/2017 7:29:51 PMWTF are you smoking dude, Destiny 1 pvp fast paced, guns don't fire rubber bullets and supers charge as expected. Nova bomb is fun and fast and splits beautifully into 3, and enemy's can't stupidly out run it. Destiny 1 mayhem is simply the best, better than all the rest.😁

Community: "Halo is amazing, it's the best FPS of all time! Destiny 2? That game is terrible, the time to kill is too slow." Halo time to kill: roughly 1.2 seconds Destiny 2 time to kill: also roughly 1.2 seconds.

3 RepliesBetter than those closet sized maps with two primaries that do half the amount of damage as a destiny weapon does. A lot more one on one combat In destiny, mayhem, bigger maps, primary special and heavy!!? yeah...I'll take my chances. Players keep saying adapt to the 4v4. You cant adapt to 6v6? Sidearms? Use one or find a way to counter. Snipers? Stay out of the sniping lanes. You get a kill in destiny that kill is yours, get half a kill in D2 that kill is yours and his/hers?
