Assuming you work for a living, what's your job and what is the one thing you really hate about it?
I work in apartment maintenance (everything from plumbing to electrical to hvac). Worst part about that job is that you're never appreciated until something breaks; there's a lot that goes that goes into the job that nobody recognizes, but you never get a thank you until you fix that a.c. that stopped working when it was 100 degrees out. Its a very thankless field.

4 RepliesI have my own business. I'm basically a children entertainer. I dress as characters and attend events or birthday parties. While I absolutely love this job, the worst part is actually driving to the event. You start to get nervous and questioning yourself like; "What if the kids don't like me?", "What if I make a fool out of myself?", "What if the parents don't think I'm doing a good job?". I try to tell myself "You got this. Just remember if you make a fool out of yourself, you're making a fool out of the character and not you". Although as soon as I get there and start interacting with the kids, it's fine.

12 RepliesI work at a prosecutor's office. What I hate most is how shitty people can be to each other (murder, r@pe, armed robbery, child abuse/molestation). Then I come on here and see children making jokes about these things casually. I promise you, it is much different when you have to look the victims or their families in the eyes for a living.

Not having a set schedule. Since I work on a farm, me working the next day is dependent on stuff like the weather, or if there's even anything left to do the next day.

1 ReplyEdited by Times Vengeance: 7/26/2017 7:38:40 PMThe fact that we have to treat our customers like babies. You claim that this item is supposed to be $1.99 instead of $2.99? Well, if you could read, you'd see that the tag says you must have the digital coupon applied to your card in order to get that price. But let me just change that for you anyway. Wow, you must be hosting a party, seeing as how you have a full cart of groceries. It also seems like you forgot how to look up and see the giant -blam!-ing sign above you that says "Express Lane — 15 items or less". But no worries; come on through!

I work in a hospital emergency room. Homeless, drug addicts and other weirdo's never bathe and the smell makes your eyes water. Not to mention that they have lice, scabies and Hep C.
