DISGUSTING FROM PLAYSTATION AND BUNGIE
Now yes I'm on xbox and yes I'm a fan of xbox but I'm really getting annoyed at how us players on xbox pay the same amount for your game but receive less content based on which console we decide to play on.
It's not a war it's a huge gaming community and we all have an amazing machine in front of us to play on weather it be Sony or Microsoft. When is this punishment going to stop .
Phil Spencer the head of xbox done a recent interview saying that anytime Microsoft done that in the past he wasn't in charge. He will never restrict content of exclusive games on other consoles and I feel that's the direction Sony need to focus on. Stop this war and stop punishing the gamer and start focusing on letting us enjoy the FULL game on whichever platform we choose. Don't forget this is now extended to new pc users who will begin to feel my salt once they realise they are being punished for choosing that platform. And frankly I really am not going to go buy a ps4 just for one strike and a bit of armour . But yes I want it and yes I'm giving bungie the same amount of hard earned money to play it .
I really hope everyone follows suit with a more coexist community rather than a we have this and you have that as destiny is my fave game ever but I feel bungie really couldn't care less about us enjoying there game as much as ps4 players which is a terrible attitude for a game developer

I don't have a problem with the exclusives, its the deal Sony made with Bungie that Xbox passed on. The only issue i have is how long the exclusives last for. Most games exclusives last for a month to a few months. Destiny's first exclusives were a year, and everything since then is still exclusive to the Playstation. It's kind of ridiculous to me that it would be that long in the first place, but now we are in the homestretch to the release of D2, and Xbox still doesn't have the exclusives available to them. I don't mind PS getting the jump on a few things here or there, just hoping that they have handled the exclusives better for destiny 2. Either make them available at some time, or just tell Xbox that they will not be available ever for that console.

Xbox paid less, sony paid more money for the game to be created, hence the reason why they have exlusives....... I am on xbox and depressed..

PS4 is getting more because of Sony. It's like if I order pizza for $10 from a local pizza place, and get free breadsticks because a business is having a promotion (the business has to pay for the free breadsticks). Then, you order pizza for $10 from another pizza place, and don't get free breadsticks. The pizza was the same price. I got free breadsticks because of where I ordered the pizza from. Also, Activision, not Bungie are who setup the contract with Sony.

So even though Xbox did it plenty of times in the past, now they won't do it anymore so that makes Xbox better? I remember gta 4 having thousands of Xbox exclusive gear pieces.

Just like Sony when they launched the PS3, after dominating with the PS2. Luckily, they were able to catch up in unit sales. Doesn't seem likely for Xbox, they're getting beaten badly in the sales and exclusive war, now all of a sudden they're the nice guys? Remember Rise of the Tomb Raider? Yea, that didn't work out for them... I'll admit that the exclusive stuff is messed up though and very anti-consumer. But it's all business, best to get your product from the place with the better value.

It's not punishment, it's just Microsoft are rich very rich. Microsoft are not going to pay Bungie.net money to offer Xbox users anything extra. Microsoft is keeping there money in there own company. Thank you.

8 RepliesYou are getting what you paid for. Playstation users get extra content, because SONY paid Bungie to have that additional content made for---and distributed to-----their customers. Microsoft won't. The only issue is that a one-year (plus) deal is too long. Six months is more reasonable.

1 Reply1yr is too long . I do remember 10 yrs ago Xbots had exclusive dlc deals with CoD. It may have only been a month for a Dlc but it been happening for 10 yrs I know of.

1 ReplyIt is content created exclusively for ps4. We are paying for the same exact game and things. The only difference is Sony has been throwing money at Bungie/Activision to build us extra items. Case closed. they wouldn't be there if that wasn't the case

PS people will just vote you down. That's how it always goes. Yeah, just don't sell it on XBox. There's so little content already and part of that is taken away with PS exclusives. Just nut balls.

A true die-hard gaming hobbyist buys both an Xbox and a PS4 to maximize availability of titles and content. Most of us, myself included pick one or the other and we accept that this means missing out on both titles and occasionally having to wait on content. There is no injustice here.

If people on Xbox and pc are not happy with the exclusive content and the amount of time it lasts, send a massage to activision by not buying the game cancel your pre order. Because the only language that they understand is money

Its not like xbox players are losing anything significant to the story. Instead of thinking of it as xbox gets less, try a mindset of "SONY PAID FOR MORE" it's not like bungie is making ps exclusives out of their own spite for xbox players
